“Analyzing the Speech of Muniba Mazari”

Speaker Goal: Her goal is to motivate the audiences by telling a story about woman who
suffered a lot in her life.

 The speech is being delivered at the stage in front of many audiences.


 Audiences sitting there are all types of people. Some are technical, students, athletes and
business leaders.
 Speech is also being recorded and shared over internet.
 Speaker is sitting at the wheelchair as she is disabled but as she started everyone was
curious to hear her speech.
 She introduced herself by saying that basically she is motivator but she always tells a
story.
 She started her speech by telling a story about woman who’s perfectly imperfect life.
 Opening of speech clearly establish the intent of presentation.
 The opening of speech is memorable because it is all about herself who faced all the
challenges of life.
 While giving speech all the arguments, short stories, are related to her presentation.
 All the examples she is using in her speech are completely supporting her arguments.
 She is using metaphor in her speech when she said that terrorists are worse than animals.
 Her speech is organized logically. Everything is in sequence.
 She is transiting every part of presentation to the next smoothly.
 She is very enthusiastic when she is talking about School Attack in Peshawar.
 When she is giving speech, her interaction is very effective because audiences are also
listening to her and responding her.
 Her message is focused on, on the road to success, there is always we, not me.
 There is also humor used by her when she said that, they see my disability while I see me
ability.
 Speech which is being given by her is very appropriate and words which are being used
are clear.
 There are appropriate pauses in her speech because she is gaining her attention.
 She is adding energy to her speech while forcing on particular words.
 Speech is very easy to understand because words are simple and message is clear.
 As the stage is round so she is using all the area of stage to gain attention of every people.
 Her posture and smile is showing confidence and poise.
 Her gestures are very good and natural. They are easy to see while giving speech.
 There is an effective eye contact for connecting the speaker to the audience.
 She is easy to hear because her words are clear and voice is soothing.
 Loud and soft voice variations are being used by her throughout the speech.
 The speaking pace is normal and understandable.
 Pauses being used create the excitement hear more and more.
 She is using English language which is appropriate for all types of audiences.
 Some sentences are short and some are long in the speech.
 The speech is very motivating and teaches us the real aspects of life.
 I want to listen this speaker and again as her way of giving speech outstanding.
 I am fully convinced and audiences also.
