Abstract:

This project is to determine the management of an organization’s resources on how they would
achieve its goals and objectives. This will involves setting objectives, analyzing the competitive
environment, analyzing the internal organization, evaluating strategies, and ensuring that
management rolls out the strategies across the organization. Strategic management is a continuous
process that evaluates and controls the whole business/industries in which an organization is
involved. It also evaluates the competitors and sets goals with strategies to meet all existing and
potential competitors to reevaluates strategies on a regular basis. This is to determine how it has
been implemented and whether it was successful, or does it need replacement. Based on this
situation, we have been choose Fraser & Neave Holding Bhd as our respective company for this
study. Fraser & Neave Holding Bhd is among the oldest brand around the region and most
established food and beverage companies with its brands is most popular among the household.
Throughout this study, we get all the information regarding the company profiles such as
background, vision, mission and company financial, and clearly understand by doing a lot of
research. For example, we use ratios on getting the information about the company performance.
Other than that, we also applied Porter’s Five Force Model and STEEP analysis on doing the
industry analysis. Lastly, we will recommend the strategy formulation and implement it by using
TOWs matrix.
