Acquiring Company : Pensonic Holding Berhad

Pensonic Holdings Berhad was started as Keat Radio in 1965 by Dato Chew. The company
on focuses on Japanese products.In 1982 he created Pensonic for a reasonable price for
Malaysians.It started with selling audio appliances.Now Pensonic is a local brand that
manufactures and sell electrical appliances.

Company Vision

We wish to expand the business and branding into largest groups countries and also into
South-East Asian, the Middle East, and Africa markets, thanks to the ability to unlock value
through development, efficient management and innovation. We see us acting as the supplier
of first choice and quality products to the consumers because of our professionalism and
expertise to be active in all aspects of the business whilst offering competitive pricing and
reliability.

We always fight for continuous improvement, consolidate innovation and technology in our
undertaking to create customer value in our wide range of products and service. We commit
ourselves to bring better enjoyment for the consumers for a better lifestyle.

Strength

It offers affordable price for the consumers to purchase. Moreover, these companies have
some celebrities as an ambassador for their product.This is a way to attract a purchaser.
Pensonic offers many range of products to customers in Malaysia. There are many customer
service centre around Malaysia to assist the customer on their purchase or repairing. In
addition ,this company has bound with certain electrical appliances store, supermarkets to
expand their circular of selling.

Weakness

There is some weakness of this company. It is low in creative advertising and very rarely be
seen. Due to this people perceived it as low-quality appliances.

Opportunity

It creates an effective marketing strategies to show the brands ability. Pensonic has to provide
a more interesting advertisement to increase their brands appearance in the industry.This is to
make their brand to sustain with a better performance in market. Moreover, there should be
more interaction nd engagement with customers to gain trust.Pensonic has to create more
promotion and events to maximize their brands to public. Our government also is creating a
positive move on encouraging the public to purchase local brands to boost the economic.

Threats

Public always go for the international brands to create a standard in society. Poor advertising
skills leads to less exposure to public. Moreover low quality advertising on product leads to
low quality impression.
