FEMALE YRS PRIOR TO MARRIAGE INCREAGE

The age of MENARCHE is falling and the age of Marriage is rising.
AVERAGE AGE OF at FIRST INTERCOURSE FOR UNMARRIED SEXUALLY ACTIVE YOUTH
-average age of first intercourse is well below the average age of marriage
YOUNG ADULTS & CONTRACEPTIVE USE
- In Kenya, unmarried youth say the main reason they did not use contraception was
because they did not expect to have sex at that time.
