It is with great pleasure I write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Jenna White. I have known Ms.
White for one year as her university supervisor in the Single Subject Physical Education Credential
Program at California State University, Long Beach.

Ms. White is an outstanding teacher and passionate about physical education. She has demonstrated
mature teaching skills and organization throughout her student teaching assignment. Ms. White’s
lesson plans are well written and thoroughly organized. In addition, Ms. White demonstrates excellent
verbal skills while teaching her lessons; she speaks clearly and concisely for student comprehension.
Ms. White develops comprehensive and sequential lessons to ensure student success.

Ms. White is a very dependable teacher. Ms. White is punctual to class as well as to off-campus
assignments for teaching. She communicates well with her master teacher and supervisors regarding
concerns for her students and demonstrates patience when faced with challenging behavior that comes
along with teaching at the middle school level. Ms. White is a very caring and thoughtful teacher and
knows the importance of preparing her students to become lifelong athletes who love physical activity.

In addition, Ms. White is highly regarded by her students. She has a good rapport with her students
and is highly motivated to ensure their success in her classes. Ms. White works well with fellow
faculty members in her department and seeks feedback from veteran teachers on how to effectively
manage her classes. She realizes that teaching is a profession that is always changing and I believe she
will hold herself to the highest standard when she reaches her goal of becoming a K-12 educator.

I highly recommend Ms. Jenna White to teach for your school district. Ms. White is an excellent
candidate for teaching any grade level and is well prepared for the teaching profession. If you need
