GC concerns 008-G: plagiarism

Marian,
I have read the charge of plagiarism and have compare the theses. The evidence is clear that the UTK
student copied the thesis from CMU. The UTK student appears to have understood the thesis well, but it
is wrong to have claimed it as his own work. Asian students grow up with a different perspective
regarding plagiarism, but this is a clear violation of UTK’s policy.
