THROUGH HUMAN EXCELLENCE

1. INTRODUCTION:
The Human has intelligence and energy. In the present era, the human miss one important item of all true education,
namely, character building. A combination of knowledge and character alone can make path for Human Excellence.
The character comes from the manifestation of the divinity always present in every human being and finds expression
in the spirit of love and service of humanity, irrespective of caste and creed, gender and nationality. We have different
types of character excellence like Indian Character excellence, western character excellence, etc. Today, we need a
human character excellence.

The present paper focused on to bring out various aspects of human excellence character like strength and
fearlessness, self confidence, courage, discrimination, concentration, self-sacrifice and so on which constitutes the real
character of a person. One can develop one’s personality only through manifestation of human excellence by achieving
the various divine dimension of a person.

2. HUMAN EXCELLENCE:
Human excellence is defined as those human qualities that make a person outstanding, exceptional, superior. Human
excellence is striving without stress, intent without tension, purpose without pretension, the passion to succeed with
humility in success. The Human excellence involves with two elements i.e. knowledge and character.

3. KNOWELDGE:
Knowledge is understanding of something, such as Facts, information, skills, which is acquired through experience or
education by perceiving, discovering or learning. There are two kinds of knowledge (i) higher knowledge: this
acquired from direct experience of the self. (ii) lower knowledge: it comprises study of difference science including the
Vedas. To achieve the Human Excellence we requires both secular and spiritual knowledge.

4. CHARACTER:
The qualities that make human being different from other people is known as character. The nature of human being is
also known as character. There are several characters applicable to human beings such as politiness, strength,
fearlessness, self confidence, etc.
Both the elements i.e., knowledge and character has very crisply and beautifully brought out the essence of the real
personality development.

5. OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:


An attempt is made in this study, to analyse the Personality Development through Human Excellence in India in
general and particularly related to the State of Telangana. The Specific objectives of the study as follows:

1. To investigate into the Personality Development through Human Excellence achieved by the sample
respondents Telangana in general and particularly related to the Bhadradri Kothagudem District.

2. To analyse the impact of the character on Personality Development through Human Excellence,
which is a source of inspiration of Human beings.

6. DATA BASE METHODOLOGY:


The present study is based on both Primary and Secondary Data. Primary Data is collected through personal
discussions with the selected sample 150 human beings from Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana State. Whereas the
Secondary data is collected from the books, libraries of the Institute and Universities.

7. LIMITAIONS OF THE STUDY:


The secondary data was gathered from more than one source, which in turns lacks uniformity, consistency and
regularity etc. The personal discussions with the selected sample for the purpose of Primary Data also suffer due to
different levels of perception, interpretation and behaviour of the sample respondents.

8. PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH HUMAN EXCELLENCE


An attempt is made in this paper to probe into personality development through Human Excellence. In order to probe
into Human Excellence towards Personality Development the following characters were identified.
i) Strength
ii) Fearlessness
iii)Self-confidence
iv) Courage
v) Discrimination
vi) Self-Sacrifice
vii) Others

In the process of Field Work, it was noticed that most of the respondents indicated more than one character or a
combination of several characters. Therefore, it was thought better to use weighted ranks for identifying major
characters by the respondents. The major characters presented in human being were presented in the Table-I. These
characters were plays vital role towards personality development through Human Excellence.

It is evident from the Table-I that the major characters with a majority of respondents confronted was self-confidence
followed by fearlessness and courage. Among the other characters strength, discrimination, self-sacrifice were
important. Thus it is clear that though almost all the sample respondents having all the characters the intensity of
different characters was varying in case of different sample respondents. Interestingly for most of the sample
respondents, the self-confidence character dominated than other characters for personality development, certain
characters inferiority complex, faith, etc. occupied the last rank.

Having broadly identified these major characters of sample respondents of personality development through Human
Excellence, now an attempt is made to investigate these characters in greater detail by identifying the sub characters
within. Tables 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 presents the strength, fearlessness, self-confidence, courage, discrimination and self
sacrifice characters of the sample respondents.

9. SUGGESTIONS:
In the light of the above findings the following suggestions have been offered to make the human beings among the
men and women as a meaningful, forceful and effective instrument not only forceful and effective not only for the
personality development through human excellence for the improvement & development of the entire nation at all
levels & corners.

1. The self-confidence make us to give up the awful disease that is creeping into our national blood, that idea of
ridiculing everything that loss of seriousness.

2. The self-help is the best help for the learning process, depending on others is a sign of weakness therefore the
dependency must be avoided.

3. The secret of success of human beings lies in self-confidence and self-reliance, the power and perfection already
existed within the human being, which is helpful for the personality development.

4. Life of the human beings having the so many difficulties, if these difficulties faced by them with courage they can
overcome the difficulties.

5. The humanbeings have to fight fear and troubles andignorance if they expect them to flee before them.

6. The humanbeings were presented in the world where the world is a combination of good and the evil. To protect
human beings the influence of the wicked, they must exercise their power of discrimination.

7. The power of concentration improves quality of work clear thinking and intellectual understanding, open up new
opportunities in different fields is also increases the power of concentration.

8. Realisation of unity in diversity is the goal of mankind, spiritual knowledge leads to unity and ignorance to diversity.
