Helpful Tips.

Please download/install: X86 bit setup version if you are using a 32 bit OS.

X64 bit version if you are using 64 bit OS.

NOTE : Before installing proxyrental setup.exe please make sure you don’t have any other IP or Proxy
Software installed on your PC. Otherwise, It may create a conflict with our software. If you already have
proxy rental installed and are unable to auto update, please uninstall the older version and use the
download link to get the latest version.

Settings

>> install "Setup.exe" from the proxy rental folder. You will be asked to reboot your PC after installation,
so please follow those instructions.

Please allow proxy rental to detect your connection speed. This will allow you to bypass entering custom
Connection timeout settings.

>> Please look at screenshots in your member profile and confirm Proxy Rental's recommended settings.

Important for Craigslist users : Add post.craigslist.org under SSL/TLS settings and check spoof SSL/TLS.

Important : if you are working on secure pages (https pages), add them to SSL/TLS settings with the
following simple format. – eg. “google.com”. It is not required to add urls with “https:// “ preceding the
domain name.

New “Email” Feature : we have added new feature on the tool for manual posters. That is next to the
File Menu. "Email" check it out. you don't need to open your CL accounts emails to confirm your ads. You
will just have to put your id and pass and put robot.craigslist.org in FROM or whatever the email CL uses
to sends you the confirmation link eg. robot@craigslist.org and choose your Email sever according to
your email provider eg. gmail, hotmails. You will get the ad confirmation link on the tool and just confirm
it. we have made this tool, and it should saves a less minutes for each ad.

► If you are using CLAD please adjust the settings on the Proxy Rental tool. To do this,
Go to file >> settings >> local servers >> passive mode >> select cawf.exe and start using CLAD

NOTE : please run our Proxy Rental tool before running CLAD and keep it running while CLAD is running.
it will work automatically with CLAD. Please also disable all other proxy servers or IP services if you had
them set in CLAD prior to using Proxy Rental. Make sure you have no other proxy software installed.

Settings within CLAD:

Here is how to set up ProxyRental to work with CLAD and geo-targeted posting:

1. Configure your ProxyRental account in CLAD under Settings/Identity/ProxyRental, make sure to check
"Enable ProxyRental service " box.

2. Go to Settings/Posting/Craigslist/General "Geolocated posting" drop down : we suggest "exact

location match"

3. Go to Settings/Posting/Craigslist/Internet/Change and set 1st IP rotation method to ProxyRental. Set

2nd and 3rd IP rotation methods to None.

4. Go to Settings/Accounts/CL accounts/Internet settings/Change and set 1st IP rotation method to

ProxyRental. Set 2nd and 3rd IP rotation methods to None.

5. Go to Settings/Posting/Craigslist/Internet choose " block sending browser info to CL"

6. un-check the box "Force IP change on CL account change" under settings/posting/craigslist/resources

CLAD works in the following fashion:

1. Request IP from ProxyRental

2. Check every ad in the posting queue against primary city code for the obtained IP. If match is found,
post an ad
3. Check every ad in the posting queue against 5 nearest city codes for the obtained IP, If match is found,
post an ad

4. If no match has been found during (2) and (3) checks, go to (1) "
