RULE BOOK
REGISTRATION
PROCEDURE
  
Every contingent must appoint a contingent leader (CL) and an assistant contingent leader (ACL)
to represent the college contingent.      
Every contingent will comprise of 10 team members.
        
The CL / ACL must register by one of the following procedures:

(attached below) must be dully filled along with the College seal / Stamp and requisite
signatures in the spaces provided.

The following details are required to be submitted for the


registration for email registration:
1.   Name of the college
2.   Address of the college
3.   Name of the contingent leader (CL)
4.   Email id and contact number of the CL
5.   Name of the assistant contingent leader (ACL)
6.   Email id and contact number of ACL
7.   Name of all 10 participants of the contingent
8.   Name of the principal of the college / institution

REGISTRATION CHARGES
AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
 The registration charges per college / institution are as follows for a contingent of 10 persons or less
are :
Outstation colleges – INR 5000 (10 members) If in case :
1. You are registering for less than 10 participants from one contingent you are liable to pay 5000.
(Reimbursement for the whole amount will be given on day). 
2. The number of participants are less than the confirmed number of participants as per the
registration , then the amount will forfeited.
      
The fees for outstation non contingent participants is INR 500 for a team of two.
The charges for outstation colleges include charges for accommodation.
Payment for hand/ post registration is to be accompanied with the Registration
form. payment may be done in the following methods:
a. RTGS
b. Demand draft
The payment should be made in advance on or before 25th November 2019.
The Demand draft must be delivered by hand / post to :

Payment for online / email registration must be made within 72 hours of registration, in the
prescribed manner above .        
All demand drafts drawn for the payment must be payable at Mumbai.       
Invoices for the payment of registration charges will be given on the last day of the event i.e 21st 
December 2019. CLs and ACLs are requested to collect the same from the admin room of R. A. Podar
college (Room- G4)

RULES AND REGULATIONS-


REGISTRATION
  
No restriction on number of contingents from a single college.   
Winning points in case of multiple registrations from a college shall not be clubbed for the college
but shall be identified separately for each stream- wise contingent.
 
 
The CL/ACL should register his / her contingent in the admin room
of R. A. Podar colleges (room G4) upon their first arrival for the event i.e 18th December 2019.
    
The CL / ACL will be required to carry the following documents / details for the registration
procedure:
     
1. Copy of the duly submitted registration form (attached below )
     
2. Name and college identity cards of the current academic year for all the members of the
contingent. In case of lost id card, college fee receipt of the current year and a photo identity proof
will be required.
     
3. 2 passport sized photographs each of all participants will be required and Moneta id cards will be
given on the same day , which are supposed to be worn throughout the days of the event.
 
        
A college code shall be allotted to the contingent on completion of the registration procedure. The
contingent will be recognised by that college code during all the days of event. Colleges are advised
not to disclose their college identity till the end of event.

RULES AND REGULATIONS-
PARTICIPATION
Registration for each competition shall commence daily from 8 am onwards and shall be closed 30
minutes before each competition starts.
 
  
Every participant shall register himself in the admin room before a competition starts on cross
verification of the Moneta id card given to all the participants on the 1st day with the event wise
participation list submitted by the CL/ ACL during the contingent registration of day 1 of the event, a
pop (proof of participation ) card will be given to the participant. The participant has to collect pop
before the start of every round of the competition.
     
Participants for a particular competition can be changed during the individual competition
registration if different from the list as submitted by the CL / ACL during contingent registration on
day 1 of the event. only the CL / ACLcan do the substitution in the Admin room.

Substitution of participants shall be permitted before the commencement the competition. A


participant can only be substituted for the elimination/first round No substitution will be
entertained after the end of first round. The same shall have to be done at the Admin Desk and a new
POP (Proof of Participation) will have to be obtained.
 
If one or more members of a Contingent are registered to participate in more than one competition,
the CL/ ACL is advised to check the Event Schedule before registering them.

In the scenario where the timings of the different competitions having the same participants overlap,
the Organising Committee will try their best to accommodate the participants in both the
competitions based on the facts of the case.

 However in the case where an accommodation is not possible, the member /members of that
Contingent will be compelled to choose between one of the two or more competitions that he/ she is
competing in to participate in.

No participants shall be permitted to participate without a duly authorised POP (Proof of


Participation).

SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
Reservation of Seats for the Seminars can be secured by registering for the same via:

Registration at the Desk set up in the college from 18th December from 9am onwards.
One person can register for any number of people. Registration of Seats for the Workshops
will commence an hour before the said Workshop and shall continue till the commencement of the
workshop.
No entrants will be allowed once the Workshop has commenced.
Seating arrangement in the Seminar and Workshop shall be on first come first serve basis.

RULES AND REGULATIONS-


ACCOMODATION
Accommodation shall be provided only to College contingent participants coming from outside
Mumbai on the time priority basis of their registration. (Separate accommodation for Boys & Girls)
Accommodation shall be provided only on prior notice on submission of the Registration Forms
and Registration Fees by the CL / ACL latest by 25th November 2019.
    
It should clearly specify the number of members that form the Contingent and the faculty members
accompanying them. (Indicating no. of Boys & Girls)
Accommodation in Mumbai shall be provided for the following duration only:        
18th December 2019-Check In.       
21st  December 2019 -Check Out.
*Check In and Check Out timings shall vary as per the rules of the accommodation.*

 If the Participants are arriving before 18th December 2019 or want to stay back after 21st December,
then they have to pay self-sufficient charges and inform the organising committee in advance.
 
The CL / ACL shall immediately inform their College Relationship Manager with whom
they are in communication the details of the date, time and mode of arrival in and departure from
Mumbai.   
  
Accommodation allotments shall be decided by the Organising Committee.
 Participants must take care of their own belongings / valuables. Neither R. A Podar College of
Commerce and Economics nor the organising committee shall be responsible for the safe keeping of
the participants' belongings / valuables and /or the loss / theft of the same.
No assurance for providing accommodation shall be given to outstation colleges registering after
24th November 2019.

RULES AND REGULATIONS-
REIMBURSEMENT
Travel expenditure Re -imbursement shall be provided only to Outstation College participants
taking part in MONETA 2019.
 
Re-imbursement shall be provided only in respect of one-way travel.(Return journey) 
 
Maximum amount of re-imbursement per contingent shall be least among the following criteria:       
a. Fare for Train Travel by 3 Tier AC.        
b. Fare of Bus Travel by State Transport.        
c. Actual amount expensed.       
d. INR 500 (per person)

Re-imbursement of travel fare to outstation non-contingent participants shall be the  same as for
outstation contingent participants.
 
Re-imbursement shall be made only on filling the "Travel Re-imbursement Form" during the event
days in R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics which will be given on the first day of the
Event i.e. 18th December 2019. This form has to be submitted in the admin room latest by
18th/19th December 2019 for processing of the claim.
 
Original Train / Bus tickets will be required to be presented on filling the Form and a copy will be
required to be submitted.
 
Re-imbursement shall me made by Cheque only in the name of the Outstation College.
  
 If it is desired that the Cheque payment to be made in the name of the individual participant /
participants, a letter stating the same from the Principal of the respective College on the College
Letterhead will be required to be submitted while filling the form.
 
 All payments for re-imbursement shall be made post the event and couriered to the respective
Outstation Colleges.
 
Re-imbursement for Travelling Expenditure will not be provided for a Professor/ Teacher
accompanying the Outstation College Contingent even if the number of members in the contingent is
less than 10.

RULES AND REGULATIONS-
GENERAL
Carrying sharp objects, inflammable objects, or any other objects that may be used as a weapon or
may prove to be harmful in any manner whatsoever are strictly prohibited on and within the
premises of R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics and/ or the premises / location of
accommodation provided by the college.
 
Carrying, consuming, selling or attempting to sell any narcotics, drugs, cigarettes, alcohol or
adictives of any sort is strictly prohibited within the premises of R. A. Podar College of Commerce &
Economics and/ or the premises / location of the accommodation provided by the college.
 

In any case of non-adherence to the above, R. A. Podar College of Commerce & Economics & the
Organising Committee reserves the right to report the incident to the concerned authorities and take
any other action that it may deem necessary.
  
Any sort of profanity or obscenity in any form shall lead to disqualification and possible expulsion.
 
Any misbehaviour on the part of the participants and / or visitors shall lead to disqualification and /
or expulsion from the premises.
 
Anything that can be perceived as being offensive to any national and / or religious sentiments
or gender shall lead to immediate disqualification.
 
Adoption of unfair means in any manner whatsoever shall lead to disqualification and possible
expulsion after a hearing for the same.
  
Any damage caused to any property / belonging and/ or misuse of any facilities of R. A. Podar
College of Commerce and Economics shall have to be reimbursed by the person found guilty or by
the respective College to which the person belongs.
  
Unhealthy use of the Wi-Fi services provided in the premises of the College shall lead to
disqualification and possible expulsion.
  
R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics reserves the right to admission. In any case of
non-adherence to any of the rules and regulations, R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics
reserves the right to take any action it may deem necessary. The decisions of the Organising
Committee of MONETA 2019 shall be binding and final.
