Separation Help Document

1. Who can I contact for any queries/details required after my Last Working
day?
You can contact us through the Alumni portal which is accessible one week
after your last working day. You can access the portal using the below link:
https://interface.infosys.com/InfosysGlobalAlumni/Login

2. I have not received the User Name and Password to access the Alumni
portal.
You can generate your user details on the Alumni portal. You will need to
create your account on the landing page of the Alumni portal. Once
registered, you will receive your username and password by e-mail (this is
your personal e-mail that you provided at the time of separation).

3. How do I receive my Relieving Documents?


After your clearances are closed, the Separations Team will share your
relieving documents with you. These are shared in both soft and hard copy. If
your clearances are closed on the last working day, then you will receive a
hard copy of the documents on that day itself. This will only be done if you
have quit from Bangalore DC; for other DCs, a representative from the team
will be sharing an Interim Relieving Letter with you, after which the relieving
documents will be sent to you via standard post.

4. I have not received my documents yet, how can I get them?


You can raise a request for your documents on the Infosys Alumni Portal. The
Separations Team will check Clearances and Final Settlement and then get
back to you.

5. How can I get a copy of my old pay slips?


To access your previous pay slips, log on to the Alumni Portal and raise a
request under Final Settlements> Pay slip Service Group. The required pay
slips will be shared with you on your personal email address.

6. What do I need to do in case I need Income & tax details for my new
employer (when will I get a provisional tax certificate)?
A provisional tax statement is required before the financial year end stating
income & taxes etc. This is issued only after completion of final settlement
dues. Please raise an Servecentrale request for the same.
7. When will I get my Form 16?
Form 16 will be issued after the end of the financial year sometime in May or
latest by June. For example: Form 16 for the FY 2017-18 will be issued during
May or June 2018.

8. Can I receive previous years’ Form 16 for Taxation purposes?


Form 16 for the previous years can be downloaded through the Alumni
Portal itself. You have to go on to the “My Finance” tab and click on “Form
16”. Forms for all previous years are available here.

Final Settlement related queries:

9. I have some dues pending to the company with regard to Loans & Advances.
Can this be adjusted along with Final settlement? Or do I need to make the
payment?
You are requested to take the clearance from Leave and attendance team in
e-separation, which will be provided on last working day. Once the clearance
has been closed, you are requested to drop a mail to FSL_India@infosys.com
.So that we can check whether the entire outstanding dues can be adjusted
from final settlement or partial repayment is required. Any outstanding dues
cannot be adjusted with PF & EPS amount.

10. Can I provide an alternative bank account other than my Infosys Salary
account for all the settlements?
Your Infosys salary account is the only account considered for settlements.
You are requested to keep your salary account active for at least 4-5 months
from your last working day, as all settlements will be credited to that account.

11. Will I be eligible to receive my Performance Bonus as a part of my Final


Settlement?
In order to receive the Performance Bonus, you need to be on the payroll of
the organization on the Last working Day of the Quarter. Your performance
bonus (if you are eligible) will be paid out once the results are announced.
The bonus payable to you will be credited directly to your Infosys Salary
Account.

12. Does Infosys issue a provisional tax certificate?


Yes, you can request for Form 16 on the Infosys Alumni Portal. This will be
shared with you on your personal email address, after the completion of the
Final Settlement Process.

13. What are the components under final settlement?


The Final settlement amount includes Salary payable/arrears/leave
encashment (if any).

14. Will the final settlement details/break-up be shared with me?


Once the final settlement is processed and the amount gets credited to your
Bank account, a soft copy of the settlement bill will be sent to your personal
mail address (as provided at the time of filing e-separation).

Gratuity related queries:

15. Am I eligible to receive Gratuity?


If you have worked with the organization for a minimum period of 5 years,
then you are entitled to receive a Gratuity within 30 days from your Last
Working Day. This amount (after applicable taxation), is deposited directly
into the Salary account. You are not required to fill/ submit any forms or
documents for this.

16. How long will it take to receive the Gratuity Amount?


You will receive the Gratuity amount within 15 days of leaving the
organization. This is credited to your Infosys Salary Account.

Superannuation related queries

17. How do I withdraw my Superannuation Amount?


For withdrawal of Superannuation amount, you will have to raise a request
on the Alumni Portal and mention your PAN details. A member from the
team will get back to you with the various options you may have available for
withdrawal and the procedures for the same. These may include:
 Settlement
 Transfer to a New Exempted Superannuation Trust
 Availing a Pension/ Annuity Scheme

18. How long will it take to have my Superannuation dues settled?


Withdrawal of Superannuation gets processed within 30 days from the date of
final settlement. A transfer of Superannuation will get processed within 30 days
from the receipt of the form. The amount (after applicable tax) will be directly
credited to your salary account.

19. How do I transfer my Superannuation amount?


In order to transfer the Superannuation amount, you will need to get in touch with
your new employer, request for and fill Superannuation Form A, along with Income
Tax clearance Certificate. The new employer can share this with Infosys and we
will initiate the transfer of the amount. The address the documents needs to be
shared at are:

20. Where can I view the current Superannuation balance?


To find out the current Superannuation amount balance, please raise a
Servcentrale request on the Alumni Portal.

21. What is my Superannuation Account Number?


Superannuation account is same as the Infosys Salary Account number.

22. Does the withdrawal Superannuation Amount invite Tax deduction?


Yes, withdrawal of Superannuation amount will invite Tax deduction.

Provident Fund related queries

23. What about my PF dues?


As per statutory requirement, a person who continues to be employed in any
factory or other establishment to which the PF Act applies needs to transfer their
PF accumulation to the new PF account number. The request for PF transfer
needs to be created on EPFO website. A Transfer of PF will take up to 20 days
from when Form 13 is submitted.

PF settlement can be initiated only if a person is not in employment for a


continuous period of not less than two months immediately preceding the date
on which they make an application for withdrawal. PF settlement other than EPS
will be processed after 60 to 90 days from the date of separation for such
employees.

24. What is the Procedure for transferring my Provident Fund Amount?


 Log on to www.epfindia.com
 Scroll over “Our Services”
 Click on “For Employees”
 Click on Online Transfer Claim Portal (OTCP)
 Create Login Credentials
 On the menu bar, drag cursor on “Claim” to generate the following
options
o Request for Transfer Account
o View Status of Transfer Claim
 Click on “Request of Transfer of Account” to file an online Transfer Claim.
 A form (Form 13) will be generated, here, fill up details in Part A and
scroll down to Part B.
 Follow the instructions on the page.
 Take a print of this form and submit to Infosys by raising a Servcentrale
request on the Alumni Portal.

25. How can I check the status of my PF Transfer?


 Log on to www.epfindia.gov.in
 Scroll over “Our Services”
 Click on “For Employees”
 Click on Online Transfer Claim Portal (OTCP)
 Create Login Credentials.
 On the menu bar, drag cursor on “Claim” to generate the following
options:
o Request for Transfer Account
o View Status of Transfer Claim
 Click on “View Status of Transfer Claim”.

26. How long will it take to for my PF to get transferred?


A Transfer out of PF will be processed within 20 days from the receipt of form
13.

27. How do I know my PF Account Number?


You can raise a request on the Alumni Portal and a representative from the PF
Team will get back to you with your details on PF Account number and UAN
Number.

28. How do I get a copy of my PF Account Statement?


You can raise a request for this on the Alumni Portal, and will be directed to
the exact procedure by a representative from the PF team.
29. How do I withdraw PF?
You will need to submit 2 sets of Composite claim Forms for PF and EPS
settlement along with the below documents to the Infosys Trust Address
(please share these by courier)
 If you have an Aadhar number
o 2 Sets of Composite forms (one for PF and another one for EPS).
o Copy of Aadhar Card
o Copy of UAN Card
o A printout of KYC page in UAN portal (Please check if Bank
account details are approved)
 If you do not have an Aadhar number
o 2 Sets of Composite form (one for PF and another one for EPS).
o Copy of UAN Card
o Cancelled Cheque leaf/ Bank E-Statement showing IFSC Code.
o A printout of KYC page in UAN portal (Please check if Bank
account details are approved)

30. How long will it take for me to receive my withdrawn PF amount?


It takes 60 to 90 days after your last working days for the settlement of
withdrawn PF amount. This is credited directly to your Infosys Salary
Account.
