Reporter 1: President Rodrigo Duterte arrived in Thailand Friday night to attend the 35th Association of
Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Summits this weekend.

Malacañang earlier said the President will attend a series of meetings with regional and global leaders,
including the ASEAN Plenary Summit and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Summit.

Duterte is also expected push for the completion of the proposed code of conduct in the disputed South
China Sea, which has been pending for over 20 years.

Duterte’s Thailand trip comes just a week after he cut his Japan visit short due to “unbearable back
pain.”

Reporter 2: The series of devastating earthquakes in southern Philippines has left at least 22 people
dead in its wake, disaster officials confirmed Sunday

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said the deaths from the two
destructive tremors— both which hit Tulunan town in Cotabato— were recorded in the areas of Davao
del Sur, South Cotabato, Cotabato, and Sultan Kudarat.

NDRRMC added that, in the last two weeks, a total of 432 people were hurt after the series of
magnitude 6 quakes. Authorities are still looking for two
missing people.

Reporter 4: Good afternoon beeshies! (Nam Filipina golfer Bianca Pagdanganan is looking forward
to the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games following a triumphant stint in North Carolina, USA.

The 22-year-old qualified for the 2020 LPGA Tour after finishing in the Top 45 and tie group in the LPGA
Q-Series at the Pinehurst No. 9 over the weekend.
Pagdanganan is the only Filipina who qualified for the LPGA Tour as compatriots Dottie Ardina and
Clariss Guce did not make the cut.
