Research has always been misconstrued as a solitary and highly academic activity. But do remem-
ber that a research will never take place without the aid of other people’s knowledge and skill and
the available resources at your disposal. The proposal lays out concepts that need to be clarified or
investigated, ideas that should be revisited or challenged, hypotheses that are called to be articulated,
terms that are necessary to define—all of these encapsulate the function of writing such a proposal.
It is also imperative to convey to your readers that writing a proposal enables you to attain a sufficient
knowledge and skill in a field, a good grasp of the relevant literature, and can prove the validity of the
methodologies you chose. We cannot underestimate the paramount assistance a proposal possesses—
it is the key to better understand and assess the methodologies to be used.
People should also consider that a research’s primordial responsibility is to humanity. Research-
ing is designed to make life better and easier, and this should be its ultimate goal—it is a challenge that
each scholar and academician should take on.
