Information
1. Candidate has to apply online on the website. (URL
www.nirmauni.ac.in/ITNU/BTECHAdmission).
2. Application Form Fee:-
· `413 (`350/- + 18% GST [non-refundable]) for the candidate appeared in 12th board
examination from the school located in the State of Gujarat (including Daman and Diu or
Dadra Nagar Haveli (UT).
· `1416 (`1200/- + 18% GST [non-refundable]) for the candidate appeared in 12th board
examination from the school located outside the State of Gujarat (including Daman and
Diu or Dadra Nagar Haveli (UT).
Note:- If any candidate of outside the state of Gujarat and paid the application form fee `413
(`350/- + 18% GST), his/her application form will be disqualified.

3. Payment will be made online through Credit Card / Debit Card/ Net Banking.
4. Your application will be treated as complete only after the payment of an application fee and
allotment of registration number.
5. Institute timings:
· Monday to Friday and Saturday (odd): 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Admission Rules
The 35% seats of intake shall be filled by Institute of Technology, Nirma University under the
category of All India seats from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the
schools located in India (including Gujarat State).

Eligibility
1. Candidate must have appeared in Paper – I of JEE (Main)-2019.
2. Candidate must have passed 12th Science Examination with Physics and Mathematics with
(Chemistry or Biology or Computer or Vocational Subject) from single board with the
percentage of marks as to be decided by the Government of Gujarat (GoG) under the rules of
admission.
Mode of Admission
1. These seats shall be filled-in by the candidates who have passed 12th Science Examination
with above mentioned subjects from the school located in India (including Gujarat State) on
the basis of All India Rank (AIR) in Paper – I of JEE (Main)-2019.
2. Online application form is available on the website (URL
www.nirmauni.ac.in/ITNU/BTECHAdmission) and same should be filled with correct
information (as per the instruction) and make payment by Net banking / Credit card / Debit
card.
3. The provisional merit list with detailed programme of counselling will be displayed on website
(URL www.nirmauni.ac.in/ITNU/BTECHAdmission).
4. The filled application form (online), Score card of JEE (Main)-2019 and Mark Sheet(s) of HSC
(Std. 12th) examination need not to be sent to the Institute.
5. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded, instead of
percentage marks/percentile in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate from school
authorities shall be required on the day of counselling of admission.
6. Online counselling will be carried out as per the schedule for the admission to First Year
B.Tech. Programme 2019. Allotted admission seat of the candidate will be confirmed only
after the successful payment of necessary fees, subject to verification of Eligibility and
necessary documents.

7. The candidate has to report for document verification within stipulated time as per the
schedule at Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad along with following
documents (original and two sets of photo copies) and two passport size photographs.

a. SSC (Std. 10th) Examination Mark Sheet

b. HSC (Std. 12th) Examination Mark Sheet
c. School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate
d. Admit Card of JEE (Main)-2019
e. Score Card of JEE (Main)-2019
f. Equivalence Certificate (In case, Letter Grades / Performance Index or Graded Point
Average awarded in qualifying examination)
g. Receipt of online payment of fees.
8. If required, Offline (In-person) counseling will be carried out as per the schedule for the
admission to First Year B.Tech. Programme 2019. The candidate has to report within
stipulated time as per the schedule at Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad
along with the documents mentioned in Point No. 7.
9. Candidate is required to follow admission procedure and schedule, declared time to time at
the office of the Institute and website (URL
http://www.nirmauni.ac.in/ITNU/BTECHAdmission).

Reservation of Seats
a) For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the candidates who are of
Gujarat Origin and falling under the following categories and in following proportion, namely:
i. Scheduled Caste (SC): 7 %
ii. Scheduled Tribes (ST): 15%

b) A candidate seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a Certificate of

Caste from the competent authority of Government of Gujarat.

c) No caste certificate shall be valid unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the authority
empowered by the Government of Gujarat.

d) If a candidate fails to submit the necessary caste certificate as required within the stipulated
time, his candidature shall be considered for admission under unreserved category as per
open merit.

e) If a candidate of reserved category gets admission on unreserved seats in order of open

merits, he/she may be given admission on the unreserved seat according to his/her
preference, subject to fulfillment of open category eligibility criteria and as per merit order of
open category merit list.

f) The admission of a candidate of a reserved category on a reserved seat shall be valid subject
to the verification of caste certificate issued to him/her by the authority empowered by the
Government of Gujarat in this behalf. In case, the caste certificate is found to be invalid on
verification, he/she shall not have the right to claim his/her admission on reserved seat and if
he/she has already been granted admission, such admission shall be cancelled.

g) Reserved seats remaining vacant in any of the afore-mentioned categories shall be converted
to open category seats.

h) The merit list of the SC/ST categories will be prepared based on the All India Rank (SC/ST
Category Rank) of Paper – I of JEE (Main) – 2019 Entrance Examination.

Interpretation of Clauses

· In case of doubt in interpretation of any clause(s) or in dispute on any issue, the decision of the
Chairman of the UG Admission Committee – 2019 shall be final.

· Disputes, if any, shall be subject to Ahmedabad jurisdiction only.
