HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE

Maximize your experience of the London World Business Forum 2019! This
guide includes biographies on each speaker and their areas of expertise so
that you familiarize yourself with the topics throughout the event. At the end
of the guide, you will find a series of discussion questions about the
different topics . Note that each presentation will include subtitles in
either Spanish, Portuguese, or English to accommodate as many

zation in times of rapid change and complexity. Consider the various management
strategies shared by the speakers and identify the those you think would be most
important to future-proofing an organization and why.

2. Some of the speakers spoke about the importance of organizations aligning


business and social strategies. Consider what speakers shared about this concept
and share an example of how an organization aligned its business and social strate-
gies.

3. Stephen Covey spoke about the need for leaders to grow, extend, and restore
trust in their organizations. Share an example from your personal experience where
you experienced or observed a leadership behavior that grew, extended, or re-
stored trust.

4. Imagine you are the leader of a company in need of new innovative ideas for its
product. You believe your employees are the key to identifying innovative ideas.
Based on ideas shared by the speakers, what are two strategies you would execute
to harness the innovative potential of your employees?
