Job responsibilities
 Examine the patient and obtain every necessary medical history, and also make use of
diagnostic tests to determine risk(s) during medical procedure.
 Provide preoperative sedatives and medications for patients scheduled for surgery.
  Provide general / regionalanaesthesia for various types of surgery and patients (pediatric,
adult and geriatric).
 Perform endotracheal intubations for emergency / trauma patients.
 Prescribe pain medications for post-operative patients.
 Determine when and if a patient is well enough to leave the recovery room.
