INDIVIDUAL SPORTS
1. CHESS
These chess rules and regulations shall be applied to men and women or mixed division.
This is an individual competition.
Swiss system will be applied, number of rounds depend on the number of participants.
The tie-break for individual standing shall follow this sequence: Direct Encounter (DE),
Median, Bucholz, and play-off.
The defaulting time is 5 minutes.
There will be a 25 minutes PLAY to FINISH.
The FIDE laws of Chess shall apply.
2. BADMINTON
Single Elimination will be applied.
Divisions: Singles Men, Singles Women & Mixed Doubles
Rally point shall be scoring system. There will be 21 point per game set and 3 game sets
pre match. • A player who has 2 wins out of 3 game sets will be declared winner.
If the score becomes 20-20, the side which scores two consecutive points shall win the
game.
Inside court rulings will follow the standard badminton rules set by the International
Badminton Federation (IBF).
Team Coaches should personally record the scores of their players so as to ensure
transparency and fairness during the tournament.
Continuous match shall be followed. Players must always be ready.
There will be a defaulting time of 5 minutes.

3. TABLE TENNIS
The competition shall be conducted in accordance with the current ITTF rules. However,
the organizing committee shall resolve other unforeseen circumstances that are not
covered by the ITTF rules where decisions will be final.
Divisions: Singles Men, Singles Women & Mixed Doubles.
To win a game a player must score 11 points.
To win a match a player, must win at least 2 games out of 3.
If the score becomes 10-10, the game shall be won by the 1st player subsequently
gaining a lead of 2 points.
Competing teams shall be given a five (5) minutes defaulting time.

OTHER PROVISIONS
1. PLAYERS MUST ALWAYS WEAR THEIR OFFICIAL TEAM UNIFORMS IN EVERY
MATCH. A player’s uniform must be distinctly different from that of their opponent.
2. No sandals or open footwear shall be worn during game proper. PLAYERS MUST
ALWAYS WEAR APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR. No shoes, no uniform, no game applies.
3. No protest will be entertained on the outcome of the game except on the eligibility of
player/s.
4. Players should bring their respective materials or equipment during the game proper
since the organizer has lack of equipment’s to provide during the SF. NO EQUIPMENT,
NO GAME APPLIES.
5. The organizer has no liabilities in case of loss of your equipment’s/materials.
6. The decision of the officiating officials is final.
7. House rules of the hosted school should apply during the proper game. (We will post it
before SF).
DISQUALIFICATIONS
1. Submission of Fraudulent of falsified documents.
2. A participant who commits a dangerous intentional foul that may inflict injury to the other
participants.
3. Any DISRUPTIVE ACTION OR BEHAVIOR OF THE PARTICIPANTS or teammate
which my lead to violence breaking the spirit of sportsmanship.
4. Aggressive behavior towards referees and organizing committee during and after the
contest.
5. Outsiders are not allowed to coach or sit at the players’ bench during the game.
Disqualification of the team will be the sanction in this act.
