Creating an express e-mail


1. Go to the Express module (inside your Campaigner, in the left bar)
2. Click the create new button
3. Search for the template name (you might need the developer to find the
name) & select it
4. Fill in the right panel (you at least will need a name)
5. You can now add the general settings of your e-mail (if any) in the middle of
your screen
6. You can also click new article (orange button), which will open a panel on
the right
7. In that panel, select which block your want and fill in the fields (depends
from block to block)
8. You can always test it, using the test view (remember the difference
between sending an e-mail or analysing it -> Litmus)
9. If you are happy, and tested everything, you can launch the journey

Creating segments
1. Go to the database / list module (inside you Campaigner, in the left bar)
2. Select your list
3. Go to the segments tab (bottom of the middle screen)
4. Click create a dynamic segment (same principle for the static segment)
5. Give your segment a name!
6. Click on the edit filter button
7. Create a new filter, using the filter designer (remember the difference
between "=" and "like")
8. Don't forget to save your segment

Various
1. You can always drag & drop e-mails, pages and journeys to other folders
2. The reporting component can help you to check to whom you're sending
your e-mail
3. You can send an e-mail to just a segment, by configuring this in the
audience component in your journey
4. You can use variables / placeholders to personalize your e-mails (eg:
~NAME~)
5. To test something, you need a test user!

Using the reporting tool


1. You can find the reporting tool in your portal (browser) on the left side of
your screen
2. Select the module you would like more information (top bar)
3. Depending on the module you selected, the left panel will change as well

• You can always click on an object in the report, which will give you a more
detailed view
• On the right of each report-section, you can find a download icon, which will
enable you to download that specific part. If you want to download the entire
page, you have to take a look at the top gray bar in the tool.
• Some of you might have the user rights to create custom reports /
dashboards (more advanced)
• Try to experiment with the reporting, you'll have to get used to the interface
before getting any relevant information...
