Aspen Commons opens in Strathmore

Aspen Family and Community Network Society has expanded its footprint in Strathmore with a ribbon cutting on Nov. 1 that
was attended by local officials. Operating as the Hand-in-Hand Parent Link Centre on 2nd Street, the facility recently grew when
the society took over the basement area, doubling its space and allowing the society to offer more programing and the ability to
partner with more agencies in the community. Aspen Commons, as it is dubbed, includes a new therapeutic access room, which
will be used as a teaching space for early childhood education.
