NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) will conduct a Public Hearing
on March 07, 2019 pursuant to the MIAA Board Resolution Nos. 2017-069 and 2018-
053, respectively.
The MIAA informs the public that it has proposed a new schedule of fees and
adjustment of existing charges pursuant to Administrative Order No. 31, series of 2012,
“Directing and Authorizing all Heads of Departments, Bureaus, Commissions, Agencies,
Offices and Instrumentalities of the National Government, including Government-
Owned and/or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs), to rationalize the rates of their fees
and charges, increase their existing rates and impose new fees and charges”. The set
of implementing rules and regulations for A.O. 31 was released on 30 January 2013
through DOF-DBM-NEDA Joint Circular No. 1-2013.
In general, the increase/adjustment of fees and charges is being proposed in
view of the increasing administrative cost for supervision and monitoring; maintenance
& operation costs for airport facilities and services. Other factors taken into
consideration were the following: the annual inflation rate since the effectivity of the A.O
No. 1; cost for improving and maintaining our operation in order to properly secure the
interest of the passenger & general public.
For this purpose, the MIAA is soliciting comments and suggestions on the
foregoing. We encourage the public to indicate the specific item in the herein below
Schedule to which the comments and suggestions pertain.
The Public Hearing/Consultation will be held at the Audio-Visual Room, 4/F,
MIAA Administration Building, MIA Road, Pasay City. The Authority invites the public
to attend and participate in the said undertaking, schedule as follows:

Adjusting Concessionaire Privilege Fee (CPF) rates imposed on sub-lessees at
MIAA-owned hangars at the General Aviation Areas to equal the CPF being paid
by the principal lessee/concessionaire plus 30% share of MIAA on the rentals the
sub-lessees are paying the principal lessee /concessionaire, particulars are as
