A Camel is an even-toed ungulate in the genus Camelus that bears distinctive fatty deposits known
as “humps” on its back. Camels have long been domesticated and, as livestock, they provide food
and textiles.

A Xerecole, commonly referred to as a dessert animal, is an animal adapted to live in the dessert.
The main challenges they must overcome are lack of water and excessive heat. To conserve water,
they both avoid evaporation and concentrate excretions.

THE Addax,, also known as the white antelope and the screwhorn antelope, is an antelope of the
genus Addax, that lives in Sahara dessert. It was first described scientifically by Henri de Blainville
in 1816.

SANDGROUSE
Sandgrouse is the common name for Pteroclidae, a family of sixteen species of bird,
members of the Order Pterocliformes. They are traditionally placed in two genera: the two central
Asian species are classified as Syrrhaptes and the other fourteen species, from africa and Asia, are
placed in the genus Pterocles.
