Executive Summary

ECOVUS will be a company that will be situated in Abbottabad. The Company will

making biodegradable cups. The Company is trying to remove the plastic cups from Abbottabad.

The Sales of ECOVUS will be less because the people in Abbottabad are unaware of the threat

of plastic cups. However ECOVUS is the only firm that is making Biodegradable cups in

Abbottabad District and the company is also taking orders from different stores online. The

Company has an advantage as the Government is trying to ban the plastic cups and bags so its

opportunity for the company to boost their sales as there is no competitors in Abbottabad.

Description of Product & Services

ECOVUS will be selling the biodegradable cups which are used for Tea and Cold Dink

purposes. The Company is thinking about to create different size of cups which will be used for

soups, Coffee, Shakes to boost their sales and increase the product line.

The Company is also try to write different quotes on their cups regarding awareness

about the threats of plastic cups and the diseases caused by polystyrene cups. The Company is

also considering to make biodegradable bags and plates so it will increase the revenue of the

company and give them a competitive edge.

Technology Considerations

ECOVUS is focusing on latest technology to offer their buyers convenience when placing

their orders. The Company is trying to neglect the order booker post because they are planning to

give their buyers an online platform where they can place their orders and they can get 1 to 2

workings days.

As the Company is not created and it need huge amount to develop the software and

employees to run the software and make updates with the passage of time so it will take some

time to develop the software because the services of Software and IT persons will be required.

The Company already introduced the inventory management software so whenever the

stock is less the come to know so they order the stock in order not to face future inventory

problems.

Product/ Service Marketplace

ECOVUS will be targeting all the small stores and Cash & Carry outlets in Abbottabad.

The Company will be acting as a supplier for these outlets. The company will not face any

competition because the market is not yet established in Pakistan regarding biodegradable bags

and cups so it’s a great opportunity for the company to bring awareness in the consumers mind

so they will avoid to use plastic bags.

The Company will be distributing their products to the buyers with the help of

company’s order booker they deliver to each and every store in the Abbottabad who place their

order.

Marketing Strategy

As the company is not yet established so the company is focusing on displaying ads on

different TV channels. The company is making different types of ads in which they are bringing

awareness to their end consumers and also telling them the effects of plastic bags.

ECOVUS will be contacting with Cable Owners to run their ads on their personal

channels and also other local channels like K2 most of the people watch local channel so they

should be aware of the fact that the plastic is playing role in waste pollution and other diseases.

Organizing & Staffing

ECOVUS will be required staff as the company is not yet established so they will easily

reach out to their buyers in limited time.

Staffing Positions

Key Accounts Manager

This Post is required to manage the accounts of the company and directly report to the

manager of the company about the expenses and revenue that company is generated on monthly

basis.

IT Manager

IT manager is required for the software and one who is dealing with the orders and

looking for the inventory and also fixing the problems that comes in the existing software and

protecting from malwares.

ECOVUS will be doing a campaign on brand awareness in which they will give their

products directly to their consumers and take feedback from them and also they will tell them

about the benefits of their products.

November 1st 2019: Initiate the Campaign

December 1st 2019: Campaign Feedback Meeting

January 1st 202: Report on the Feedback of Consumers

February 1st 2020: Giving Questionnaire to end consumers

Findings & Recommendation

Based on the information presented in this feasibility study, it is recommended that

ECOVUS approves the software that will allow buyers to place their order online and begins

project initiation

Key Findings are as below:

Marketing

 The Company should advertise also on social media as it’s cost effective also.

 The Company will also give pamphlets to different institution so the young generation

also know what type of threat they are facing.

 ECOVUS should be focusing on developing the software that will easy to use for buyers

as for as the company.

 The IT employees should be focusing on the software that they design it should not

shutdown when there is more traffic.

Financial

 The Company should minimize their costs

 Avoiding hiring extra employees that are not useful for the company.

 Break-even point should be in second year
