The second set marked Binangonan’s clear
advantage over Taytay with Cagers ending the
second set and the championship with a 13-point

The Builders’ attempts to catch up in
the middle of the set did not work against the
combined efforts of Cagers Ceñidoza and Meer.
Team captain Villado completed the Cagers’
dominant win over Builders with a service ace.

thought they won.
Meanwhile, coach Richmond Castro said
that the girls were very consistent on the court

the fastest time of 4 minutes and 31
seconds to secure the gold medal of
the competition.
Arnibal who led the squad said
that they also had won the gold
medal in the 4 X 100-meter dash
with Shenalee Lagusan in the line
-up in the place of Nicky Diesta.
The team from Montalban was
followed by Rizza Mae Obejas led
squad of Pilillia who reached the
finish line with the time of 4 minutes
and 38 seconds for the silver medal.
Meanwhile, San Mateo Blazers led
by Ashley Mecel Tabad took the
bronze medal marking a time of 4
minutes and 44 seconds.
On another event, Kurt Iverson
Francisco of Cardona soared to
greater heights as he took the
gold medal right in front of the
spectators in Marikina Sports
Center.
Athletes from Cardona boosted
the jumper’s will to soar higher
as they cheer for Francisco in his
wind-up.
In his last attempt he was able
to clear the height of 1.68 meters
which other jumpers failed to
surpass.
Ruben Morilla of Pilillia tried
three times to jump over the 1.68
meters’ pole but was unsuccessful
settling for the silver medal, while
Yvonne Vincent Alvario took
the bronze medal after clearing

championship game in favor of Taytay

ball finally landed the goal and ended
the long dramatic penalty shot exchange
against Angono Giants during the Football
