MANAGEMENT ASPECT

Management is a distinct process which consists of planning, organizing and

controlling performed to determine and accomplish the objectives by the use of its

people and resources.

Forms of Business Organization

The researchers have chosen the sole proprietorship as a form of business

organization because it is easy to establish and organize. The researchers chose this

type of business because it is easier to provide the products and services that will be

offered to the customer.

Organizational Structure

OWNER/MANAGER

STAFF
The figure above explains that the manager is the only person who is in charge in

the overall business. The organization is composed of owner/manager as the top

management and his staff in assisting the customers while monitoring the business. The

organizational chart is linear because the departmental head which is the manager has

full authority to manage and control the business.

are only two people because the business needs a staff to be the keeper of the coins

needed in doing the customer’s laundry. Since the manager has full responsibility in the

Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of each of the employees/staff in the organization

are as follows:

Owner

 Supervise the overall business operation


 Responsible for the financial transaction of the business

 Selects and hires the employees.


 Direct, supervise and motivates the employees
 Gives the proper wages for the employees

Staff

 Responsible in assisting and guiding the customers.


 Responsible in keeping the tools and equipment clean and organize.
 Comply with all applicable safety standards.

 Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness within work area


 Responsible in keeping coins and assisting customer in changing bills to coins.

It is a white shirt because the researchers believed that it represents cleanliness

with a printed business logo at the front.

Steps on how to register sole proprietorship business:

1. Register a business name at Department of Trade and Industry

A. Come-up with three (3) business names.

B. Search in the DTI’s website if there’s an existing name similar to yours.

C. If your business name is available fill up the Business Name (BN)

Application form.

D. Submit your completed BN application form to DTI’s office/branch.

E. Wait for your DTI Certificate of Registration.

2. Registration with Barangay

A. Go to the barangay where your business is located to secure and fill-up

application form.

B. Submit your completed application form together with the following:

 Certificate of Business Registration from DTI

 Two (2) valid ID’s

 Proof of address such as Contact of Lease (if rented); or Certificate

of Land Title (if owned)

C. Claim your barangay certificate of business Registration.

3. Register your business in the Mayor’s Office.

A. Go to the municipal office where your business is located to secure and

fill-up application form.

B. Submit your completed application form together with the following:

 Certificate of Business Registration from DTI

 Two (2) valid ID’s

 Proof of address such as Contact of Lease (if rented); or Certificate of

Land Title (if owned)

C. Claim your Mayor’s Business Permit and Licenses.

4. Register your business in the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)

A. Go to the Regional District Office (RDO) where your business is located.

B. Fill up the BIR Form 1901- Application for Registration (for Sole

proprietorship)

C. Submit complete registration form together with the following

 Certificate of Registration from DTI

 Barangay Clearance

 Mayor’s Business Permit

 Proof of address such as Contact of Lease (if rented); or

Certificate of Land Title (if owned)

 Valid IDs if applicable

D. Pay the registration form (BIR Form 0605)

E. Register your book of account and receipts and invoices.

F. Claim your Certificate of Registration (BIR Form 2303)

Legal Requirements

Store Policies

 Wear proper prescribed clothing


 Salaries will be given weekly which is 200 per day.
 1 hour lunch break will be given to the employee.
 Having absences will be deducted to the employee’s wages.
 Strictly considered to come on time based on the schedule.

Waste Management

“RICE ON THE GO” plans to dispose all the waste materials that is used.

The trash bags will be collected by dump trucks every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
