July 2018 – Current Product Madness, UK Data Science


 In this role I provide analytics and insight on the Product Madness social games network, and the high-level
product interactions with respect to our users.
 It is my responsibility to provide the analytical support to User Acquisition department, including creation
of in-house UA fraud detection tool, User Acquisition LTV prediction tool, and etc.

 In this role I have provided insight analysis to various third part companies in retail, telecommunications and
etc.
 I have also engaged in different processes aimed at the support, improvement and streamlining of the current
reporting/database infrastructure -- designing SQL for the Data Warehouse, building data quality check and
automation tools, developing AWS data import and Quality Assurance process, etc.
April 2016 – April 2018 Ocado, UK Planning Analyst
 In this role I am responsible for physical asset availability, as well as physical asset demand prediction and
control.
 Engaged in multiple projects to improve or redesign various monitoring and predictive tools that require
careful investigation of the problem and application of mathematically rigorous techniques to real-life
complex – and sensitive - situations, such as Christmas Demand prediction, Weekly and Daily Basket Size
prediction etc.
 Have developed and maintained several toolsets for various instruments (R, VBA, Tableau, GoogleSheets
API etc) to improve the efficiency of the department via code reuse and standardization.
 Provided additional training and workshops to both the new starters and my coworkers in use of the more
advanced statistical techniques, best coding practices and the finer points of the R programming language.
2014 - 2016 SIA Dominante, Latvia IT Department Manager/CTO of SIA “NUKO”
 Took charge of e-groceries store improving both front-end and back-end IT infrastructure as well as logistics,
overseeing the increase of weekly purchases from 30 to more than 700 in less than two years. The process
of back-end design included, among other things, mathematical theory for item-item and user-item
recommendation systems or sampling frequency estimation for quality control in the warehouse.
 In the same capacity I have managed several teams of outsource programmers and designers to implement
complex changes to the existing project without disrupting service to our customers.
 Lead several high-profile projects in the subordinate companies, aimed at replacing and enhancing the out-
of-date IT infrastructure, increasing throughput, efficacy and reliability of almost every aspect of company
IT-related workings through applying current best practices and employing outsource companies instead of
ad-hoc in-house solutions.
