Course Description:-

This course builds on the knowledge gained in the elementary course on statistics. It
emphasizes the relevance of statistics in business management. The major topics include:
statistical inference, sampling distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and
comparisons of sample means, variances and proportions. SPSS are introduced as computer
based tools for statistical analysis.

Pre- requisite:- Elementary Statistics

Grading Policy:-

In-semester Evaluations: 30%
