"El pilar de Djed se usa en una ceremonia llamada" Levantar a los Djed "(resucitar a los muertos). El Djed es el
pilar que sostiene el cielo y representa la resurrección, la fuerza y la estabilidad (un estado de ser reconciliado).
La ceremonia de Djed representa el triunfo de Osiris (muerte y renacimiento) sobre Set (caos y desorden).

Existen tres pilares distintos en el Árbol de la Vida de la Cabalá: el Pilar derecho de expansión, el Pilar izquierdo
de la constricción y el Pilar medio, que equilibra y armoniza entre los dos opuestos. Los Pilares son una
representación esquemática de las 3 fuerzas de toda la Vida: positiva +, negativa - y neutral 0. El Pilar Medio
neutral corre por el centro del Árbol (Bastón de Hermes) y simboliza la reconciliación y la integración. "- Scott
