Eco-parks provide space for residents to
interact with each other and meet new people.
They’re also great spaces for events and for
people to engage in recreational activities.
This allows people to develop a sense of
community. An eco-park is perfect for a picnic,
or a farmer’s market—whatever your
community feels it needs. Increasing the
number of parks and recreational facilities is
also reduces crime rates, especially among
youth. By giving young people a safe place to
interact with one another they keep them of
the streets and out of trouble.
The need for more and better parks in
all cities isn’t just about people. Each eco-park
has its ecosystem. They provide natural
habitats for many diferent animals. As cities
grow, more and more of these animals find
themselves without homes. Parks provide a
safe place for many of those displaced by
urban sprawl. Building a healthy network of
parks in our city is one major way we can
protect these animals and preserve local
ecosystems [4]. This also makes parks great
places to teach children about the
environment and the importance of preserving
natural ecosystems.

Review of Related Literature

Eco-park a short form of Ecological Park. It is
imposed as an amusement park without hampering its
natural environment so that the bio-diversity remains
unaffected [1]. An ecological park is also a place where
wildlife habitat is introduced into a city so that it can be
self-maintaining according to ecological principles (e.g.
diversity of species, ecological soundness, sustainability,
etc.), and into which appropriate wildlife is introduced
that can be maintained with minimal energy supply.
Higher priority is given to the ecological environment than
in other parks [2].
With the rise of environmental issues due to the
expansion and development of a certain city, and
recognition of the importance of ecology has
