Café del Cielo is a café that will offer a unique taste of coffee at an
affordable price. This café gives off a homey vibe with a good ambiance to all
the customers. The customers can customize their own cup or container and at
the same time can make their own coffee personally. But there is also a menu
provided. Sales annually is projected to increase 10%, this forecasting of sales is
within the first three years after the implementation of the business.

The mission of the business is to offer heavenly tasted coffees, beverages,


pastries and hot meals. Also, to gain more customers and make them a
patronizer of the café, satisfy their needs and to have high sales every day.

The vision of Cafe del Cielo is to be one of the best cafés in the city and in the
country. With an increasing net sale every year, branch out in different places
and will be the number one choice of the market.

Business Description

Café del Cielo is a café for everyone most especially for those who
wakes up every morning to go to work or school. It offers coffees and snacks
with unique and heavenly taste. The café aims to branch out and expand in the
following years, with an increasing rate in sales. Near the commercial area,
business center and schools are where the café is planned to be establish. It will
be open from 6a.m. to 7 p.m. everyday. Its great advantage from other cafes in
the city are the customers is given two choices in having their desired coffee.
The coffees price is affordable but with a great quality.
Product/Service Description

Café del Cielo is a service business that offers a unique and heavenly
tasted coffee and delicious pastries and snacks. It does have two rooms. First is
the room with music, books and magazines perfect for those customers who
loves to read while listening to a music and also those who wants to consume
their time. The other separated room is for those customers who wants silence
while savoring their coffee. The café also offers customers personalized r
customized cup and they can also make their own coffee if they want to, but if
not, there is still a menu where they can choose. We will also offer a discounted
at a surprise time every day. The discount can mount from 10% to 50%. This café
is planned to be open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm every day, it is planned to be in
that way because a lot of students and employees go to their work early in the
morning. It is targeted to be established in an area near the offices and schools.

The students and office workers are the main customers or target market of the
cafe but also open for wide varieties of market. There is an online site where
customers can give their feedback and also in the café there is a small card
where a customer can put the sticker given into them and choose the right
phrase or sentence on how they rate the service, the foods and beverage
they’ve ordered. In the busy street of Makati City is where the Café del Cielo is
planned to be set, near the offices and along the way to schools. And it is also
accessible to all the customers because it is near the bus stops and on the side
of the road.

The product can be got through purchasing it inside the café. Workers on
employees will be employed full time so that these won’t be too much hassle
most specially when shifting. Customers can start order through online. What
they just need to do is to go to the official account or website of the café and
order the coffee, snacks or hot-meal they want so that the time they arrived at
the café all they need is just to get their order without wasting too much time to
wait. But ordering online needs to be paid online also, to avoid negative actions
that can result to an unpaid order. The café will be promoted in social media
like Facebook and Instagram. Prices of the coffees, beverages and foods start
from P 50.00 – P1,000.00, these prices are more affordable than the other café’s
in town.

Competitive Analysis

Today in Makati City there are a lot of café’s like Habitual, Curator Coffee
and Cocktails and Toby’s Estate but the named coffee shops have a high
priced which only people with enough budget can afford to order or buy from
there. But in spite of high price those cafés are also been awarded and
recognized not just inside the Makati City premises but also on the other part of
Manila. We already expected this kind of service from our possible competitors
but there are still points that is beneficial for us. Some of this are the price which
is lower than the competitors, offers distinct café features like two separated
rooms for two types of person and also offer a personalized cup and coffee. In
this case the features of the café can help to boost the chance of attraction to
the customers.

Operations Management

The location of the café is so accessible to the customers. The building is


on the lease and it costs 289,000 per month with 280 sqm. There is 3 parking
space in front. The building is located in The Ayala Avenue, Makati. Ingredients is
imported from Spain some of the ground coffee are Marcilla, Nespresso, Bongka
and Saimaza. While the furniture’s that will be used are from the V.I.A. Co.
because of its good and high-quality products. The manager will take charge of
everything concerning the café while the two employees will do their assigned
job and support the manager.

Management Plan

There will be two employees, a barista and a server. The skills that we are
going to look on qualifying an employee for the job are their experience in
serving and making coffees and beverages, responsible, flexible and punctual.
In 5 months after the business is implemented the employees were going to go
on a training to enhance their skills and learn more about making the products
of the café in which we can use to develop and improve the features and
offered products of Café del Cielo. After some several months or years that the
café is in good and developing state, we are going to add two or more
employees for faster service and at the same time can start delivering orders
and buy vehicles for it. Additional of equipment, utilities and products will also
be added.
