INVITATION FOR BIDS

Procurement for the Marketing of Digital Initiatives

MTCI/OAB 07/2019-20
1. The Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation hereby invites eligible and
qualified bidders to submit their bids for the Procurement for the Marketing of Digital Initiatives.

2. More details are contained in the bidding documents which can be downloaded free of charge on
this website: publicprocurement.govmu.org

3. Any clarification sought by a bidder shall be addressed to the:

 Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation, Attn. Manager
Procurement and Supply, Level 6, SICOM Tower, Ebène, Republic of Mauritius.,
or through email:
 rappadoo@govmu.org / bjorai-oomeer@govmu.org
and shall be received not later than fourteen (14) days before the deadline for the submission of bids.
Corresponding replies shall be forwarded not later than seven (7) days before the deadline for the
submission of bids.

4. Bids in sealed envelope clearly marked “Procurement for the Marketing of Digital Initiatives”
addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation shall be
deposited in the Bid Box located at the under-mentioned address or sent by Registered Mail to the same
address with mention “Attention Open Registry- OAB 07/2019-20” so as to be reached not later than
Monday 30 September 2019 at 13 30 hours (local time) at latest.
Late bids will not be accepted and those forwarded by electronic mail will not be considered.

5. Bids will be opened in the Conference Room of the Ministry on Monday 30 September 2019 at 13
40 hours in the presence of Bidders/Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

6. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday 10 September 2019 in the Conference Room of the
Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation at Level 7 SICOM Tower at 10.00 hours.
Potential bidders/bidders’ representatives are strongly advised to attend.

7. The Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation reserves the right to

(a) accept or reject any bid; and
(b) annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award as per provision of
section 39 (1) of the Public Procurement Act 2006.
