 The mind is a mass of senses. The mind is a
consolidated sense and the sense are the
mind in manifestation. Just as a minister
obeys the king, so the five senses, organs of
knowledge, act in accordance with the dic-
tates of the mind. The senses represent back-
waters. The mind is the common sensory,
because it can directly see, hear, smell, taste
and feel independent of the senses. The
mind is an aggregate of the five senses as all
the sense faculties are blended in the mind.

In my collection, these five senses together

are portraying the strength of mind. A range
of designed emotions.

BRAND:IKAI by Ragini Ahuja
Ikai by Ragini Ahuja was established in July 2012 with an aim
to create incredibly practical clothing – with relaxed fits and
natural textiles – that exude luxury with no hint of pretense.
Oversized canvas-like silhouettes are adorned with authen-
tic illustrations and animated details. Traditional Indian tech-
niques are used in the most nontraditional ways such as fabric
applique’s. It is one of the few body-positive brand in India
whose aesthetic is to make wearable art with a tinge of ge-
ometric finesse.
CONCEPT

The theme or the design concept of the collection is the ultimate moment of cross-over where
there’s a lot of rush but it appears to be stagnant. The mood that is being depicted is powerful
or mighty. The power to be above the ruccus. The silhouttes in such a way that it portrays to
be a particular garment but is actually not. The body-positive collection shows power of the
people and that everyone is powerful in their very own way.

 A blazer jacket dress with assymetrical collar. Length- Midi
length.
Fabrics used are merino wool blend with 20% of silk. Merino
wool being a naturally breathable fabric supports the basic
element of the collection i.e. the antifit quality.

design.
Merino wool blend of 80-20 ratio and 110’s count. Merino being the premium
quality of wool also has a very unique quality of odour resistance.
