I. Rationale

Supervision is a service primarily concerned with bringing about continuing development of the instructional program in line with the
school’s Vision, Mission and Objectives. It is intended to help teachers professionally so as to inspire, stimulate, coordinate and guide them in
performing their duties and responsibilities to the best of their abilities. The program’s success in meeting these objectives depends on the
collaborative efforts between the principal, academic coordinator and the teachers. This can be attained in an atmosphere of trust and
community spirit forged by the institutional ideals of excellence and commitment to loving service.

resolving emergent problems and who possess initiative and creativity in the improvement of the teaching-learning process.
2. Supervision focuses attention on the whole range of elements affecting the teaching-learning process.
3. Supervision stresses teachers’ growth towards self- improvement and full realization of their potentials.
4. Supervision is participating and collaborative. The principal, academic coordinator and the teachers work as a team in sustaining the
development process.
