0 air pollution is a major contributor to global warming

Air pollution is one of the contributors to global warming. According to the Terrace, Global
warming is caused by a layer of carbon that traps heat around the earth also known as climate
change. This process of is called greenhouse effect which is a natural process that warms the
earth’s surface then when sun’s heat energy reaches the earth’s atmosphere some of this energy
is reflected space but more of it absorbed by the land and the oceans which heating the earth.
Heat radiated from earth towards up and some of this heat is trapped by greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere which results in keeping the earth warm enough to sustain life. However, Human
activities such as burning fossil fuels, cigarettes, all forms of fire, forestry and land clearing bring
greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Lastly, this trapping heart is the reason for the
rising earth’s temperature. One of the biggest contributor into trapped gases is air pollution
which comes from vehicles, factories, powerplants, fire, chemicals, methane gas, etc. air
pollution is an addition of carbon dioxide gas into earth’s atmosphere which causes global
warming. Air pollution can also be classified into two parts of visible air pollution and invisible
air pollution. Another way to look at air pollution can be any chemicals that can have a negative
impact on the environment or on the well-being of living beings in it. The sustainability of all
living things is due to a combination of gasses collectively forming the atmosphere; the
imbalance produced by increasing or decreasing the percentage of these gasses can be life-
threatening.
3.1 cause and effects of air pollution
According to conserve energy future, there are various causes of air pollutions one of this is
burning of fossil fuels, one of the major causes of air pollution is sulfur dioxide emitted from the
burning of fossil fuels such as coal, petroleum and other industrial fuels. Vehicle pollution,
including buses, jeeps, automobiles, ships, aircraft, causes immense pollution. We depend on
them to meet our basic transportation needs daily. Next effect is agricultural activities, one of the
common product is ammonia that related to agriculture and is one of the harmful atmospheric
gases. In agricultural activities, there has been a significant increase in the use of insecticides,
pesticides and fertilizers(Rinkesh, 2019). We emit toxic chemicals into the air, and they can also
pollute the water especially in our country that most of our workers are farmers One more is
exhaust from factories and laboratories, large quantities of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons,
organic compounds and chemicals are released into the air by manufacturing industries, thereby
depleting air quality. Manufacturing industries can be found in every corner of the earth and no
location has been compromised(Rinkesh, 2019). Petroleum refineries also emit hydrocarbons and
other chemicals that both contaminate the air and contaminate the soil(Rinkesh, 2019). These
causes of air pollution have disastrous effects. One of the effects is respiratory and heart
problems, Air pollution's effects are alarming. Together in the Cancer, they are known to create
many respiratory and heart problems, including risks to the skin(Rinkesh, 2019). Millions of
people are believed to have died as a result of direct or indirect air pollution impacts. Children
are said to suffer from pneumonia and asthma in areas exposed to air pollutants. Next is acid
rain, which is During the burning of fossil fuels, toxic gases such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur
oxides are released into the atmosphere(Rinkesh, 2019). When it rains, the water droplets
combine with these air pollutants and then fall to the ground in the form of acid rain.. Acid rain
can cause serious harm to humans, animals and crops. Lastly, the most dangerous effect of
climate change is global warming.
3.2 pollution from vehicles
According to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources vehicles are the top
contributor to air pollution in the Philippines. Bases on the 8th annual clean air forum of the
Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), vehicle emission as the leading
factor that almost contributes 69% of air pollution to the country and 90% of this comes from
Metro Manila. Based on the records of DENR, The current air pollution rate has fallen by nearly
20%. It's more than the allowable amount specified in the Clean Air Act. Based on the record of
Land Transportation Office, more than 6000 vehicles have added on the road from 2012 and
2014. However, the rising numbers of vehicles are inevitable because of the necessity of the
Filipinos. One factor that added to the problem of air pollution in the country is the traffic which
vehicles have to turn their machines long which produces more air pollution(Pelayo, 2017).
