NGO CENTRE

INTRODUCTION

A NGO is an organization consisting of private individuals who believe in certain basic social
principles/ obligations and who structure their activities to bring about development to communities
that they are servicing. “NGOs include groups and institutions that are entirely or largely independent
of Government and that have primarily humanitarian rather than commercial objectives”. They are
non-profit making, voluntary and service oriented organizations. Working on various issues like
Environment protection, Save the Planet Earth, Disability, Science and Technology, Health,
Agriculture, Animal welfare, Art and Culture, Education.

ISSUES

 Lack of inter-communication between various NGOs


 There is no place where all the NGOs gather and discuses.
 Poor cooperation with mass media.
 Lack of long term strategic planning.

AIM

 A centre for Primary support and platform for civil society

OBJECTIVE

 To develop co-ordination between various NGOs working in different direction.


 To develop a long term vision.
 to create an organization which can work for overall social, economical
And welfare of citizens.
 To work for upbringing of deteriorating society

SCOPE

 Overall scenario can be developed.


 If government official visits to get the ground reality there is no single body which
amalgamate all the available data together.
 The Shared Goals report provides a concise overview of the main reasons for getting involved
in sport and development and the benefits of partnering with NGOs.
