INTRODUCTION
This book is about a Slovenian girl who is 24 year old and her name is veronika. The book “veronika
decides to die” written by PAULO COELHO. She worked in a library. The girl Veronika is tired because of
her life and than she tried to kill herself. On November 1997, she decided that to kill herself had - at last!
Arrived. She cleaned that rented room of a conven,turned off the heating, brushed her teeth and lay
down. She takes the four packs of sleeping pills. Her sucide attempt fails.

Veronika is the main character of this novel which plays the role of a protagonist who pass off a journey
of transformation. Mari - This character intellect
many horrible attacks. Zedka - This character
undergo severe depression related to love. Eduard - This character know

doubtful experiments. Veronika's Mother - This character is tactful
and does not fight back when pulling by others.

Brazlian lyricist writing on the topic of spiritual transformation and radiance.
Summary
The novel takes place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, a few years after the break up of Yugoslavia. Veronika is a
young librarian with aaccurate life that she still finds unfulfilling. She feels weak to
change her life and feels that things will only get worse as she ages, so makes a relatively frigid decision
to end her life in order to find freedom. Before taking pills, she reads an article “Where is Slovenia?”
(the article is being written by Coelho) and decides to write a letter to the editor. This book
would surely work as medicine for those individuals who lose their balance in life and suffer from
frustration. This book portrays the beauty of life and how it is destroyed by ourselves with our
extreme thinking by giving space to over-excitement and feeling some blank in life.
