Announcements

•Reading Log: Students should read for at least 20 minutes on 18 days of the month. They
should also answer one question in complete sentences on the back of the log. For each day
that the reading log is late, 10 points will be subtracted from the overall grade. Reading logs
are due at the end of each month. The November reading log will be due Monday, December
2nd.
•Accordion Folders: We ask that you partner with us to teach these very important skills,
especially by checking these new folders each night. The purpose of these folders is to build
students' executive functioning skills, and to begin to teach the importance of responsibility
and organization. In addition to checking agendas, we ask that parents check the first 4
tabs in particular, nightly: Parent Sign, Unfinished Work, Reading Log, and Keep at Home. If
you have any questions, please let us know. .
•Uniform Reminders: Please be aware that your students may be sent home with a uniform
reminder if they forget a part of their uniform (ie. ties /cross-ties) OR come to school
wearing something not following the school uniform guidelines. For example, 3D headbands
(ie. cat/ bunny ears), silly knee socks with patterns, and boots of any kind are not allowed.
Spirit Wear:Students are allowed to wear St. B’s t-shirts on the last Friday of every month
with uniform
bottoms
•Renweb: Please keep up with your child’s grade percentages and progress on Renweb.

Reminders
• Chapel is every Tuesday morning. Please have your child wear the chapel uniform and
proper accessories (ties and cross-ties).

•Important Reminder!! We are a nut aware school. Nut products are NOT allowed in school -
including peanut butter sandwiches. If you send in a peanut butter alternative (such as soy
butter or sun butter) please mark the sandwiches so we know it is not peanut butter. Thank
you!
