to withstand typhoons and

safety of local residents.

along the river banks.

is vital because it will
avert flooding thereby
preventing damages
to the existing bridge
located along the National
Highway, which is the
only access in going to the
Provincial Hospital and
Sea Port from the eastern
part of the island,” said
Adongay.
