“I’m not a separatist,” Wilson said as he in-

what?”
The resolution seeks action from both the
federal and provincial government. To the
federal government: acknowledgement of Al-

government. Albertans have the highest aver-
age incomes in the country; while they are

pay more in federal taxes than regions where
wages are lower.
Secondly, the resolution wants acknowl-

The resolution also demands the provincial

excited to share that as of Oct. 31st, our
total numbers have reached 2,520 items,

WORLD WAR I ENDED WITH THE TREATY OF VERSAILLES

ON JUNE 28TH, 1919
The first global conflict had claimed from 9 million to 13 million lives and caused
unprecendented damage. Germany had formally surrendered on November 11, 1918,
and all nations had agreed to stop fighting while the terms of peace were negotiated.
On June 28th, 1919, Germany and the Allied Nations (including Britain, France, Italy and
Russia) signed the Treaty of Versailles, thereby ending the war.
