Bad influence

A human being needs to pass through all stages of the life in a good way, in order for it to be

happy and a good person. So if there is a problem in one of this stages such as in the childhood,

the behavior of the person may seem affected. In the case of the movie this kid was not so

influenced in his behavior by the attitude of his irresponsible parents. So this kid has to face some

hard circumstances. And it is because his parents attitude that the movie reflects a lot of ethical

issues, such as drug, alcohol and striptease dancing.

Although his mother was a strip dancer, this kid (Haley Joel Osment) did not seem really affected.

But he miss to be with her mother and spend time with her. And he did not care that his mother

was doing a degrading job for a women. He still was a good son and treated her mother with so

much love and appreciation. Her influence affected more in his way of thinking of the women.

He did not want to see any other women that goes through this problem.

As we know alcohol bring everyone bad consequences, sometimes the mother of Trevor

McKenney came home drunk because of the problems she had faced doing work. With this

example what does the mother teach her kid? People that usually had to grow up with this problem

tempt to have a trauma that later affects their lives. But this kid did not let this action impact his

live and he still being a good boy and in any way possible he tries hard to do a favor for three

people who must in turn each do good favor for three other people. So this is how the movement

started.

Every kid if it’s treated bad they’ll probably react in a bad way as they were treated. This is what

happen when the mother hit the child, he left. This kid left home and as he is not too old he was

about to be molested when his teacher and mother rescue him. His absent dad was an alcoholic
and he treated really badly this kid. The good thing is that the kid knows how to differentiate the

good from the bad or evil. So even though he was treated in an abusive he still had his personality

to not be so affected. The influence the parents show or reflects was enough to make this kid a

bad or maybe to force him to be part of a gang.

Drugs are not an important theme talked in the actuality. Drugs have been used for centuries as

an important medicine. But nowadays is used as a way to evade your problems and basically to

escape this world. As we see on the movie when the guy was consuming it, how he changed

mentally and with the addiction how he changed physically. So as we see consuming drugs can

make you change the way you live, think and act and consequently will consume you and kill

you.

The bullying is just another ethical issue presented on this movie and we see how it was reflected

on the main character. Because this kid tried to help his friend who was being bullied he was the

one who took the consequence. Children that are bullies most of the times carry weapons such as

guns, knives and sometimes even bombs. This is really dangerous and I think that they do that

because of the parents that sometimes they don’t even know what their children are doing. The

violence in young kids in these days have increased a lot and I had heard that there is a high

percentage of the presence of bullying around the world. This is why the main character passed

out, because as good friend he tried to defend his friend and he got stabbed in the chest. We have

to make conscience about this topic and tried to fight against it. Because as the case in the movie

many other children in the world had died because of bullying or maybe they have committed

suicide.

This kid as many other famous and important people had changed the world and each one have

made it in their own and unique way. But everyone can do it, you just need an idea to change the

world and put it in practice. Despite the fact that this kid had a bad influence he never changed

his way he act or the way he thinks. This is a lesson for us that perhaps in the surroundings we

grow up, we can build our own personality and behavior. Maybe the difficulties we have to affront

may change it a little bit, but we have to overcome it with a better thing such as the feeling to help
others. And also is necessary to identify and make the difference between what is good or bad

and try to not going into the temptation of doing bad things. Remember the teaching of the

mistakes made in the movie, so as a human being we learn from the mistakes so please meditate

and try to not commit these errors.
