“Illuminati: A Secret Society for the Good”

Back when I was still on the 5th grade – that was year 2015 – when I got my first ever

smartphone in my teenage year and I can even recall that the model was Volt – a smartphone

offering from Cherry Mobile. So cheap, right? Now, enough with the sick humor. It was also the

time when I became well-aware with the internet and its content. One time I was surfing an

internet platform called YouTube, I accidentally clicked an unknown video and in pure

coincidence the content of the video was all about the “Illuminati”. After watching the full

video, it really bothered me ever since. It was like a bee amplifying an irritating buzz in my ear.

Or like butterflies flying in my belly. It really made me skeptical knowing that I don’t have any

further knowledge about it.

According to my research, it is one of the famous conspiracy theories and is in the same level

with the Aliens, Bermuda Triangle, etc. Moreover, conspiracy theorists highly suggest that it is a

secret society with evil agenda. But, personally I think that there is more light illuminating from

it rather than the darkness that dims its existence. So, I am here upfront to unravel the truth

behind all the lies and debunk the hoax that everyone still happens to believe.

Based on historical records, the Illuminati wasn’t just some sort of Chimera – it was a

genuine and legitimate society operating in the shadows from year 1776 to 1785. It started as a

small group but with great ideals and tremendous goals. It was thought to be founded by the

German law professor, Adam Weishaupt who wasn’t able to afford the Freemason admission
fee which was the most widely known organization at that particular time period. So, he

created his own secret society which he called “The Order of the Illuminati” – also known as the

“Bavarian Illuminati”. The founder of the Illuminati, Weishaupt, highly believes in the ideas of

Enlightenment and he also aimed to educate not just his colleagues in his society but also other

people about reason, philanthropy and other secular values. Because of his sensible intentions,

its members grew higher and higher from nine to thousands in just a few years’ time. But its

continuous growth didn’t last long enough after Karl Theodor became the ruler of Bavaria. He

disallowed secret societies and sentenced individuals who ever join in one to death and that

became the major downfall of secret societies including the Illuminati. Or was it?

Shortly after the Illuminati disbanded, conspiracy theories have emerged about the said

society including the accusations of John Robison on the secret society about infiltrating the

Freemasons and Abbe Augustin who promoted the theory that secret societies including the

Illuminati, were behind the French Revolution. Even today, on the 21st century, many conspiracy

theories were made about the existence of the Illuminati. Probably the most influential one

were connecting every tragedy in the world as the work of the Illuminati and that they are

controlling the world to what they referred to as the New World Order. Another theory states

that the Illuminati is pure evil and weirdly enough you could acquire fame, power and riches if

you will sell your soul to the devil, pledging for loyalty and doing the things that the society asks

for. Famous conspiracy theorists suggest that members of this society are famous celebrities in

Hollywood and singers such as Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Kanye West and even our gorgeous gal

Ariana Grande who even admitted his connection with the Illuminati on her interview with Ellen

in the Ellen DeGeneres show, etc. Politicians, rich individuals and leading world leaders are also
believed to be linked with this society. But, these claims lack proof or evidences that clearly

justifies the credibility of such conspiracy theories which labels them as ‘unconfirmed or

unproven”.

According to pioneers, the existence of the Illuminati is to shed light and enlightenment to

the people as what Adam Weishaupt strongly believes. Conspiracy theories about the Illuminati

in this century speculates that the all-seeing-eye is the insignia of the Illuminati but it isn’t the

real one at all. The true symbol of the Illuminati was the owl of Minerva which is the equivalent

of Athena in Roman mythology meaning wisdom. Hence, the Illuminati is not an organization

that strongly opposes God and his teachings. It’s also not a religion and definitely far different

from Satanism – a baseless hoax that most people believe nowadays and a focal point of

paranoia worldwide. They also promote a worldview of ideals of Enlightenment that reflects

rational thought and self-rule. If you’d ask, “Why are they lurking in the shadows if their

intentions were for the good where in fact they can just do their noble acts with their identity

not hidden to the public?” The reason behind their anonymity is in order for them to continue

to function throughout societal changes. They must remain covered behind the curtain – “an

outsider, belonging to none, loyal to all”. They act as defense for us civilians. In fact, they’re

actually standing alongside the good. Their agenda is not to harm nor to endanger the lives of

many but to guide the way for others; to serve as the light of everyones’ chosen paths. Simply,

we must open our minds and release any apprehensions we have in it and we will then find

relief and comfort in the truth.

I reiterate, the Illuminati is not a society causing havoc and chaos neither a religion

promoting Satanism nor an opposition against God and his teachings. It is basically a society
operating for the good of all mankind and in order to do that, they should keep their identities

hidden from the publics’ own eyes. Their intention is not to harm nor to endanger the lives of

others but to shed light and enlightenment to people who lack knowledge and understanding

as what their founder, Adam Weishaupt believed. Despite countless conspiracy theories made

about the Illuminati – which have sprouted international concerns throughout the globe – we

shouldn’t believe such claims knowing that they lack proof about it and evidences are

immensely insufficient and are just hoaxes that people tend to believe. You might not be able

to comprehend their purpose and ambitious gaols. But as what I’ve said, you just have to simply

open up your minds and release any apprehensions you have in it and you will then find relief

and comfort in the truth. So to those who are amendable or willing to join with us, never

hesitate and feel free to ask me anytime you want. You’ll never regret the choice you made to

be on our side.
