“Authentic empowerment is the knowing that

you are on purpose, doing God's work,

peacefully and harmoniously”

- Wayne Dyer
the period between childhood and adult age
the qualities of vigour, freshness, or
immaturity as associated with being young
Give (someone) the authority or power to do
something
Make (someone) stronger and more
confident, especially in controlling their life
and claiming their rights:
is the outcome by which youth, as
change agents, gain the skills to
impact their own lives and lives of
other individuals, organizations and
communities.
Youth are the generations to come, and they
truly are the most important building blocks
in society
Problems are always prevalent and changing
anywhere you go. Whether it be problems
with drugs, alcohol, bullying or anything,
they are never ending, and are slowly
expanding into the younger ages
HELP BE THE WAY TO HELP.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Youth empowerment at the individual
level is exercising power over ones life by
being skilled, critically aware, and active in
creating community change
Youth empowerment at
the organizational level is the
implementation of a culture, vision,
and system that supports youth
empowerment at the individual level.
Youth empowerment as a Peer Support
Facilitator is empowering our individual self
and through others to fully develop our true
potential and act as change agents to the
betterment of our society
is the sentiment young people feel towards
a particular person, activity, place or
outcome. It has been a focus of youth
development, public policy and social
change movements.
