RESOLUTION No. 03-19

“A RESOLUTION FOR THE CREATION OF BARANGAY SCHISTOSOMIASIS TASK FORCE

COMMITTEE OF BARANGAY MAMBALILI, BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR”

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the state to support the Sanitation Code of the Philippines that every
household should have a sanitary toilet facilities.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) shall monitor and impose policy/
disciplinary action for those household without sanitary toilet facilities and should be penalized based
on the ordinance stipulated;

WHEREAS, there are lot of upshot for health for not having sanitary toilet facilities such as diarrhea,
cholera, schistosomiasis and other deadly illnesses;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Mambalili is one of the endemic areas for schistosomiasis out of ten (10)
barangays of this Municipality.

WHEREAS, it is necessary to conduct quarterly meeting of and clean-up drive in every Purok and
Information Education Campaign (IEC).

NOW, THEREFORE, upon presentation of the above premises, be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that in consideration of the motion of Hon. Marivel O. Ayala and
duly seconded by Hon. Jamy Vab Montes to pass a resolution for the creation of Barangay
Schistosomiasis Task Force Committee of Barangay Mambalili, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Barangay Schitosomiasis Task Force Committee of this Barangay is
hereby reconstituted with the following composition.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this 5th day of March 2019 during the 3rd Regular Session of the
Sangguniang Barangay of Mambalili, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur at Barangay Hall, Mambalili,
Bunawan, Agusan del Sur at 8:30 in the morning.
