MORAL AND HISTORICAL LESSONS LEARNED ON THE PRESENTATION

I’ve learned that we should value and preserve the history of our country. I believe that our
history is important just like the other nation’s history. The history gives us a sense of
identity and helps us understand how our nation came to be. History is important for us to
relay nationalism, culture especially to the new generations. We need to give importance to
the history because the past causes the present, and so on the future.

I am lucky that I have given a chance to watch the presentation of the Philippine history
because I’ve learned about it. I learned that I am lucky because I didn’t need to experience
the complicated life our past generations experienced. I would also like to consider the
heroes and the Filipinos who sacrificed a lot for the freedom our country.

The Philippine history is indeed raw but colourful. Because of the different country who
invades us in the past we Filipinos in the present have a different perspective in life, we have
different culture, beliefs, traditions and etc. that we adopted to our invaders but we will never
denied that because of those our beloved country is now a tranquil country.

“Bear always in mind that the true measure of honor and of charity is to die in defense of
your country” – SUPREMO ANDRES BONIFACIO

Let’s not waste the sacrifices of the heroes and Filipinos who gave their life for us to have a
freedom. Let’s value and preserve the treasure of our country, Philippines.
