La norma stabilisce i principi per la qualificazione e la certificazione

del personale incaricato di effettuare prove non distruttive (PND) in
campo industriale. Il termine "industriale" implica l’esclusione delle
applicazioni nel campo della medicina.

La presente norma è stata elaborata sotto la competenza della

Commissione Tecnica UNI
Prove non distruttive
La presente norma è stata ratificata dal Presidente dell’UNI ed è

entrata a far parte del corpo normativo nazionale il 12 luglio 2012.
Le norme UNI sono elaborate cercando di tenere conto dei punti di vista di tutte le parti
interessate e di conciliare ogni aspetto conflittuale, per rappresentare il reale stato
dell’arte della materia ed il necessario grado di consenso.

This document (EN ISO 9712:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 135 "Non-
destructive testing" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 138 “Non-destructive testing” the
secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by December 2012.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent

Relationship between this European Standard and the Essential

Requirements of EU Directive 97/23/EC
This European Standard has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission
and the European Free Trade Association to provide one means of conforming to Essential Requirements of
the New Approach Directive 97/23/EC, Pressure Equipment Directive.
Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union under that Directive and has been
implemented as a national standard in at least one Member State, compliance with the clauses of this
standard given in Table ZA confers, within the limits of the scope of this standard, a presumption of conformity
with the relevant Essential Requirements of that Directive and associated EFTA regulations.
