Teachers Activity Students Activity
A. Routine
Ask the student if they are YES!!!!!
ready to learn something new
today.
“Class, we are about to
venture another topic today,
Are you ready?!!!”

Ok, before we start let us pray

let us close our eyes and bow
our heads.

Lord Jesus, thank you for this

wonderful day you have given
us, we pray that may you
guide us and help us while we AMEN….
are studying our lesson for
today this is our prayer in GOOD MORNING teacher, it’s nice to be
JESUS mighty name . AMEN with you today.

GOOD MORNING students, it’s

nice to be with you today.

B. ACTIVITIES
1. Setting Expectations:
Class, I will give some of you a Ok Maam..
piece of paper which you in
turn should form into an
image on the board.
Yes Maam
(The teacher distributes the
pieces of paper)
As the background music plays, you are
expected to form the image, is that clear?
A rainbow
(the music plays)

What have you formed?

(answers may vary)
Very good everyone.
Ask:
Do you like rainbow?
What does the rainbow represent
in your life?
What color of the rainbow do you
like best?
What does the line “There’s a
rainbow always after the rain”
mean?

2. Matching Vocabs

Now, I want you to pick your

favorite rainbow color and
read the sentence written on
it. Match the word used in the
sentence to its definition from
the given choices.

Red- denigrate
Orange- outlandish
Yellow- haughty
Green- patriotism
Blue- contentious
Indigo- quarrel
Violet- retorted
3. Literary Exploration:
Today, we are to deal with a
parable which is a succinct,
didactic story in prose or in
verse illustrating one or more
instructive lessons or
principles.
Young people like you are
sometimes judged as
incompetent and foolishly
ignorant about what life really
is. This notion belittles your
inner self to perform well.
As you watch The Parable of
the Rainbow Colors written by
Juan Flavier, you will have the
chance to understand how
you should defend yourself
from being belittled and how
you should anchor your
strengths to a broadened
horizon.

( Viewing Time)
4. Process Questions:
-How was the relationship
among the colors of the
rainbow before?
- What is the change that
happened in each of the
colors?
- If you were to choose among
them, which color had the
best claim?
- What came to end the
quarrelling?
- How did the rain stop the
quarrelling?
- What does the rain
represent? How?
