Before every meal, it’s always a good idea to have some lemon water.
Here’s why:
It’s been shown to help improve diges;ve system func;on, which is one
of the most important things you can do when trying to lose weight.
How To Make It:
30-60 minutes before your meals add 1/4 of a lemon to 8-12 ounces of
water and enjoy. Then eat your meal as usual.
So simple, yet so powerful!
Nightly Fat Melting Elixers
The right tea before bed can be an amazing way to help you relax
before bed and turn on your fat burning signal to run throughout the
night.
Drink one of the teas below before going to bed…
Chamomile Fat Fighter
Chamomile is the rockstar of the night time tea family. It can help you
relax, treat colds, is anti-inflammatory, and can even settle your
stomach.
How To Make It:
For this recipe, all you’ll need to do is steep some organic chamomile
tea for 3-5 minutes.
Add a dash of cinnamon or turmeric, and some honey to taste.
Peppermint Vanilla Fat Blitzer Tea
Not only is peppermint tea delicious, it’s been show to improve
digestion, reduce pain, help your relax, boost your immune system,
and even aid in weight loss.
Vanilla bean, although not well known for it’s amazing health
benefits, will help support mental performance, fight inflammation,
and just tastes delicious!
This is one of our favorite nighttime teas.
How To Make It:
Bring your water to a boil, then pour the water over 5-10 fresh mint
leaves and 1 serving of organic vanilla bean powder. You can also use
1/4 of in inch of a vanilla bean pod if you don’t have powder.
Let this steep for about 5-minutes.
You typically don’t need to mix in anything else as this tea tastes
amazing by itself!
Stinkin’ Amazing Fat Burner Tea
You may be wondering what the heck that name means… Well, this
night time tea can be a little… Stinky.
However, although stinky, you can’t beat the benefits.
How To Make It:
Bring a pot of water to a boil then pour over 1/2-1 teaspoon of Apple
Cider Vinegar and 1/2 a teaspoon of honey. Mix well.
Let it sit for 3-5 minutes then enjoy!
Feel free to add some cinnamon (this will make it taste like hot apple
cider).
Fat Burning Waters
So many people that I talk to have a really hard time drinking enough
plain water… And because water is so important for your health and
well-being, Kelsey and I created Fat Burning Water recipes that you
can make to give your water an extra little boost.
Give one of these water recipes a try and if you find one you really
love, make a big batch of it and drink it throughout the day!
Blueberry Mint
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1 cup sparkling or still water
• 6 blueberries
• 6 mint leaves
Directions:
• Add ice, blueberries and mint to a glass
• Pour water into glass and stir
Cucumber Lemon
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1 cup sparkling or still water
• 5 cucumber slices (thin)
• 2 lemon slices
Directions:
• Add ice, cucumber and lemon to a glass
• Pour water into glass and stir
Cucumber Mint
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1 cup sparkling or still water
5 cucumber slices (thin)
6 mint leaves
Directions:
• Add ice, cucumber and mint to a glass
• Pour water into glass and stir
Lemon Lime
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1 cup sparkling or still water
2 lemon slices
2 lime slices
Directions:
• Add ice, lemon and lime to a glass
• Pour water into glass and stir
Pomegranate Ginger
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1 cup sparking or still water
• 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
• 1 lemon, juiced
• 4 inches ginger root, juiced
Directions:
• Grate ginger with a cheese grater
• Put ginger pieces into a cheesecloth and squeeze out the juice
(can be squeezed with hands as well)
• Combine ginger juice and lemon juice and pour into a glass of ice
• Add pomegranate seeds and pour water into glass
Strawberry Basil
Ingredients:
1⁄2 cup ice
1 cup sparkling or still water
3 strawberries, sliced
3 basil leaves
Directions:
• Muddle fruit and basil at the bottom of a glass with a beverage
muddler or a spoon
• Pour water into glass and stir
Watermelon Mint
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1 cup sparkling or still water
• 1⁄4 cup watermelon, cubed
• 6 mint leaves
Directions:
• Muddle fruit and mint at the bottom of a glass with a beverage
muddler or a spoon
• Pour water into glass and stir
Fat Burning Smoothies
Below are some of our favorite fat burning smoothie recipes. These
are a great way to get some extra protein into your day or to have as
a snack throughout the day.
Just make sure you choose a high quality protein that your body can
digest easily. Unfortunately, all protein powder is not created equal…

Banana Berry
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup water or coconut water
• 1 banana
• 1⁄4 cup raspberries
• 1⁄4 cup blueberries

• 1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
• Handful of spinach
Directions:
• Blend ingredients together and enjoy!
• Add additional liquid if mixture is too thick
Blue Raspberry
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup water or coconut water
• 1⁄4 cup raspberries
• 1⁄4 cup blueberries
• 1⁄2 banana
• 1⁄2 cup ice
1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
Directions:
• Blend ingredients together and enjoy!
• Add additional liquid if mixture is too thick
Go Green
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup water or coconut water
• 1⁄2 avocado
• Handful of spinach
• Handful of kale
• 1 banana
• 1 apple, peeled, cored
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
Directions:
• Blend ingredients together and enjoy!
• Add additional liquid if mixture is too thick
PB & J
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup unsweetened almond milk
• 1⁄4 cup almond butter
• 1⁄2 cup strawberries
• 1⁄2 banana
• 1 handful spinach
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1-2 scoops of chocolate protein powder
Directions:
• Blend ingredients together and enjoy!
• Add additional liquid if mixture is too thick
Strawberries + Cream
Ingredients:
• 1⁄2 cup unsweetened almond milk
• 1 cup strawberries
• 1⁄2 cup raspberries
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 cup ice
• 1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
Directions:
• Blend ingredients together and enjoy!
• Add additional liquid if mixture is too thick
