Opening Prayer- Wedding

Most Gracious Father, all praise and glory to your Holy Name!

We thank you for this happy celebration of your most amazing

gift, the gift of love. We thank you for the love of family and
friends that surround us, but most especially, we thank you for
the love and union of this beautiful couple, Art and Anna, who
brought us altogether in this joyous occasion of their wedding.

We thank you for all the people who supported and helped
them in making this event possible, esp. for the parents, family
and relatives. And today as we celebrate the most wonderful
moment of their lives of becoming husband and wife in the eyes
of God and in the eyes of man, that today and onwards, they will
no longer be two people apart but one couple together sharing
one heart, one love, one dream and one family, Lord God we
pray for your constant guidance and blessings, may YOU always
be at the center of their relationship. Bless this lovely couple Art
and Anna as they stand on the threshold of a new journey
together and help them remain forever committed to You and
the vows they made to each other, to stick through thick and
thin, happiness and sorrows. May their love continue to grow
each and every day. Grace them with a life filled with everlasting
happiness, wonder and joy.

Lord Almighty, we pray for Art and Anna to continuously enjoy a

blissful marriage now and the days to come. Bless them with a
family of their own they would love and cherish for a lifetime.
And as we continue with the feast of this union, we ask you to
bless each and every one present here today. May the rest of
the celebration be memorable and happy with the grace of your
Holy Spirit. We also ask you to bless the food that we are about
to partake that will serve as our strength. We thank you for the
bounty of your blessings as always, through Jesus Christ our
