Synthetic Lubricant (Indicated with an )

Lubmarine's Synthetic product line is comprised of high quality premium lubricants. In order to achieve optimum
performance, it is advisable to adhere to the following guidelines:

Synthetic lubricants should not be mixed with either Mineral lubricants or any other type of Synthetic
lubricants regardless of manufacturer
The change from one lubricant (either Mineral or Synthetic) to another brand of Synthetic lubricant has to be carried
out with great care. If the equipment manufacturer has not provided lubricant switching guidance, please consider
the following:

● 1. Drain off the existing oil charge and check the internal condition of the equipment. The oil will drain more
easiliy if the equipment is warm prior to draining.
● 2. Flush the equipment with the new Synthetic lubricant to be used.
● 3. Drain and refill the equipment with the new Synthetic lubricant.
● 4. Start the equipment after completing the operation and clean up.

Always adhere to locally published safety guidelines regarding safe isolation of equipment prior to
starting any work.

Grease (Indicated with an )

Lubmarine's Grease product line is comprised of high quality premium lubricants. In order to achieve optimum
performance, it is advisable to remove as much oft the previous Grease as possible prior to applying the new
Lubmarine Grease.
Please be advised that Ceran WR 2 will be replaced with Ceran XM 220 during 2013. Both products are
interchangeable and compatible.

TOTAL Equivalents
When a Lubmarine product is ordered, an alternative TOTAL product may be supplied. This alternative TOTAL
product will be fully miscible and compatible as well as maintain the same level of performance as the Lubmarine
product originally ordered. The list of equivalence is as follows:

Eco-friendly products have to be treated like synthetic lubricant with same care. Please follow upper
recommendation to switch to these products for mineral or synthetic products.
