OXI interprets the data between
EMPOWER Reservations Module and
OPERA PMS. For the translation to
work, we have conversion tables
set up in the OXI interface.

A Rate in EMPOWER Reservations
Module is built differently than a
Rate Code in Opera PMS. The
Codes are being mapped in the
Rate Code Conversion Table, so
that the reservations will be able
to flow between the 2 systems.

Every Room Pool in EMPOWER
Reservations Module needs to
be converted to a Room Type in
OPERA PMS.
GENR = STKN ( Standard King
Room Pool = Standard King
Room Type in Opera )

4 Profile Types
Company = Coprorate
Contact = Guest
G = Group
S = Wholesaler

CANCELLED = Canceled
CHECKED IN = INHOUSE
CHECKED OUT = CHECKEDOUT
NO SHOW = NOSHOW
WAITLIST = WAITLISTED

B4 = F5
C8 = Q5
D4 = N7
E3 = U7
G2 = J5

OXI Installation Wizard

A few conversion codes will be activated and populated through the OXI
installation wizard, as they contain the same values for all interfaces and are
never changing. These conversion codes are Reservation Status, Reservation
TOP TIP Action Types, Profile Types, and Guest Preference Types.

FIXME Reservations
Rate Codes which are configured incorrectly may cause a FIXME error; where
the Rate Code needs to be corrected in OPERA PMS configuration or OXI
conversion tables. Reservations should not be allowed to run through night
CAUSE &
EFFECT audit as a FIXME.

How to find reservations with

FIXME rate codes?
• OPERA report:
Reservation: Rate Code FIXME.
•F
 IXME errors will also show on the OXI
Message Log as Warnings.
•A
 lternatively, you may also view your
arrivals by rate code FIXME to see all
on the arrivals list.
Solution, add the correct rate code in OPERA
PMS and in the OXI Conversion Table.
