INTRODUCTION
Since the MNLU Nagpur is in nascent stage and there is a dire need to attract the attention of
intellectual brains for academic growth from diverse sector of law. The publicity plays a vital
role in the achievement of the objective. So for fulfilling of the objectives of publicity, we the
Committee members need to have some more photographers who can capture the real image of
our university and that can be published, so we the publishing and publicity committee are
organizing a photography competition. This will also provide the best platform to the students of
MNLU Nagpur to identify and foster their talent of photography which may be used for the
benefit of the university.

THEME
The theme for the competition will be “Campus at a Glance”, and campus here includes:

1. Current Campus (academic block + hostels)

2. Proposed New Campus Site and Judicial Officers Training Institute (JOTI) Building.

IMPORTANT DATES
 Date of announcement:-August 24, 2017.
 Last Date for receiving the entries:-August 31, 2017 till 23:59 PM.
 Last date for receiving names for DSLR /Camera photography will be August 31,2017
till 23:59 PM.
 Display of list of total entry(s) received for competition:- September 1, 2017.
 DSLR Photography will be on 4th September 2017(cap will be of 10 photos) in presence
of minimum 3 members of organizing committee.
 All the photos will be ready for display for the judges on September 5, 2017.
 Results will be announced on September 7, 2017.

PRIZES
 Prizes will be given to top 3 photographers in each category (Mobile Photography and
DSLR Photography).

  Official Photographers will be decided on the basis of this competition only and they will
be the part of photography club and will be assigned the work of photography in further
future.
 Top 2 participants from mobile photography and top 3 from DSLR photography (total
selections will be 5 only) will be considered for further photography tasks.
 If the prize winner is common in both category then he/she has to forfeit one prize for the
other one.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

Each entry needs to submit 5 photos (5original+5edited) in case of mobile photography and 10
submissions (10 originals + 10 edited) in case of DSLR/ Camera photography.
Submissions should be:-

1. In digitalized form i.e. only through email at publication.mnlu@gmail.com

2. Any submissions made through Whatsapp, Facebook or through any messenger will not
be considered and entries will be considered invalid.
3. Participants include both UG and PG students.
4. If anyone who wants to be a participant in the competition he/she shall be excluded from
the organizing committee of the competition.
