Weekly Journal

Regular evaluation updates are required with every unit. Please remember to
take photos and get behind the scenes footage as you film. You might find it
easier if you note down a record of what you did each day in a diary form.

Please use the following guidance to help you with each week.

What have you been asked to We have been asked have been asked to create 3
do? productions on a topic of our choice under “British
youth” this is meant for an audience of 14-24 year
olds.
What are you making your 3 As a group we decided to make these 3 productions
production on and why have you on homelessness. We had 3 initial ideas
chosen this topic? • Minimalism
• myths surrounding bisexuality
• homelessness.

We choose homelessness as we all thought we could

take it the furthest as there are a lot of subtopics we
could use such as “fake homelessness” and
“preventing homelessness”. We also think that we
could interest the most people in the target audience
and also all felt the strongest about homelessness over
the other 2.
What research have you This week we did research on
completed this week and what • Launchpad
have you learned? • Preventing homelessness
• What to do if you’re homeless
• The causes of homelessness
• Different types of homelessness
• And fake homelessness (begging)
I’ve learned that there is a lot of thing that are
“behind the scenes” with homelessness and learnt
that there shouldn’t such a negative stigma around it.

planning amongst your group? there, libby stuck with the location recce as she knows
the area well leaving both quinn and i to share the content
on the google doc and work together to plan.

to progress your idea? the confidence as we have planned out a lot of the small
details to ensure it goes smoothly. ive learnt that th emore
